soprano winds melody which was very well balanced with its counter and support. Unfortunately
before a very beautiful, yet eerie flute solo they were somewhat out of tune, and during it, the
flutes were talking to each other. Later, the soprano melody turns into a brass dominated scene,
with the trumpets being slightly too loud and overtaking the rest of the band. Overall, the piece
was very well executed with great attacks, releases, and flow. However there was little to no
vibrato in the song. After that song, The Magician s Secret, by Joseph Eidson was stated by a
flute squeak, but evens out into a nice jumpy beginning. Throughout the many brass and high
winds chords, they were mostly out of tune, but the pulsing and tempo was very well done and
controlled which gave the theme of smoothness and elegance. While the band was going great
with strong and obvious dynamics, one of the trumpets messed up and showed it. Luckily, a great
story of adventure and curiosity manage to cover him up and retain the moving melody. As the

Professionalism in nursing is a key component to have. The nurse that exhibits professionalism can
go far in a career. As nurses identify strengths and weaknesses, careers can change for the better.
The strengths that I see in myself are optimism, good listener, and quick learner. When I think
about who I am as a nurse, I don t focus on tasks and to do lists. Although skills are important for
patient care, there are psychosocial aspects that should be addressed. Optimism can mean the
difference in a patient s outlook. The first example is when I walked onto the unit one day; a
family member approached me and told me that it was nice to see a smiling face. That meant a lot
to me. Patients and their families both experience hardships and emotional changes when someone
is sick or hurt. Leading me to the next example, being optimistic when my patients fear that they
may not return to their former state of independence and acknowledging their concerns. Many
patients have these valid fears, and being the positive outlook instead of agreeing with them
sometimes helps get them to the finish line. The second strength, being a good listener, is
extremely important for similar reasons. Patients have fears that are valid, they have stress that is

Stephen Schwartz is a famous American composer, producer, and creator of music and film. With
a degree in drama, Schwartz was first hired as a producer in his early years. Schwartz was
interested in musical Theater since the early 1970 s when he was famous for three popular shows
on Broadway; Godspell, Pippin, and The Magic Show (The Songwriters Hall of Fame). Stephen
Schwartz accomplishments include winning the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lyrics,
obtaining three Grammy Awards, three Academy Awards and also being nominated for six Tony

Deception and trickery, often seen in real life, is a concept well portrayed in William Shakespeare
s Hamlet. In the play, as the conflict develops, Hamlet, King Claudius, and Ophelia, all use

starts out by feigning madness, then puts on a play to find out if the king killed his father, and

I. What is Fiber Optics? Fiber optic technology is often discussed in a wide range of
conversations. This may be when people talk about TVs, phones, internet, or general technology.
Fiber optics may also be referred to when talking about light and optics. An optical fiber is defined
as a flexible, transparent fiber made by drawing glass (silica) or plastic to a diameter slightly
thicker than that of human hair (Wikipedia). These fibers are used as a means of light
transmission from one end of the fiber to the other end of the fiber and this is referred to as fiber
optic communications. These fibers are quite technologically advanced because they have the
ability to transmit more data and at a quicker rate than normal cables made of wire. There is also
much less lost data when using fiber optic technology. Clearly, the benefits of fiber optics are
much greater than traditional wired cables. Fiber optic cables are also used for the purpose of
lighting and sensing. There are already many practical applications of the technology such as lasers,
but these applications are just the beginning of the potential of this powerful technology.
II. How was Fiber Optics Discovered? Fiber optics as we know it today has been the result of a

critics when it comes to parenting. Whether it is the in laws, your own parents, or your friends and
family. Most people are under the impression that because they have managed to keep some human
beings alive, they have this whole parentingconcept on lock. Phillip Larkin s poem This Be The
Verse, challenges this perspective by hypothesizing that children s poor behavior and
psychological issues are all direct results of the way their parents raised them. Larkin blames his
parents for f*cking him up and points out that everyone s parents are at fault for f*cking us up.
Such as, causing kids to have abandonment issues, anxiety, and so on. Parents attempt to find the
best ways to produce an unf*cked child. Some parenting styles now being practiced are tiger
parenting, free range parenting and helicopter parenting. This paper is going to analyze how these
parenting styles contribute to children growing up with anxiety, narcissism, and low self esteem as
well as discusses the relative strengths and weaknesses of these styles.
The three styles of parenting that are mainly the focus right now are tiger parenting, free range
parenting, and helicopter parenting. Tiger parenting is a method brought into notice by Amy Chau
in her book The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. This practice consist of a mother raising her

You can see in the image above where I aligned to my best abilities the beginning of Coltrane s
Alabama with King s speech. Hearing a recording of the two overlapping is much more obvious
but you can still see how some of the words can fit into the rhythms Coltrane played. I personally
believe Coltrane did this on purpose. Of course, we have no way of know but there are some
points in the speech and music where it lines up so well that it s unmistakable. There are also
parts that do not mix well together, some of which you can see above but maybe Coltrane did
that on purpose as well, to add his own take on King s speech. Maybe even say some more things
that King didn t say that Coltrane wanted him to say. Coltrane s use of his playing abilities
makes this piece speak volumes. The beginning of this piece is essentially a lament. You can feel
the sorrow and grief of the friends and family involved in this tragedy pour out of Coltrane s
sound. Coltrane never considered himself to be a political activist. He was a musician first, but he
was also a deeply religious person. Maybe it was his beliefs that drew him towards the civil rights
movement. Coltrane played eight benefit concerts to support Martin Luther King Jr. in 1964 and
recorded multiple tracks to help inspired the struggle. Art like this though cannot depend on content
