of Daphnia (water fleas) by observing them under the microscope and recording their

stimulant drug rttused in coffee, tea, Red Bull and Pro plus, causes increased
amounts of stimulatory neurotransmitters to be released. As caffeine is a stimulant, a
prediction was made that caffeine would increase the heart rateof the Daphnia.
Method
To conduct this study a culture of living Daphnia were collected from a nearby
natural water source area.
A light microscope was set up with the light on a low setting; one large Daphnia
was selected and placed in the centre of a cavity slide by using a pipette.
The Daphnia and the cavity in the slide was surrounded by a ring of cotton wool, this
restricted the movement of the Daphnia making it easier to count its heart rate under
the microscope.
No cover slip was used as it would have damaged the water flea and stopped its
oxygen supply. Before placing the slide under the microscope, a tissue was used to
remove the pond water around the Daphnia and with a pipette plain water was added
to the cavity slide.

Summon Night 5 is a strategy JRPG and part visual novel. At the start of the game
you can pick to play as one of two characters, Arca or Folth. I played mostly as
Folth in this review but I did try out Arca to see if the story changed but it seemed
to stay the same besides the characters gender. Very early in the game you will be
saved by a Cross or in other terms the character that will become your summon. The
Cross you get depends on what item you give it as a reward for saving you early on
in the game. I got a mechanical cross named Dyth.
The story plays out visual novel style so be papered to read a lot, luckily the story
here is well written. After meeting his or her cross the players character will go off
to become a summoner of the Eucross. The Eucross is an order who keep peace
among the different types of entity s from different dimensions who all live in the
mostly peaceful city of Savorle. To advance the story along the player will travel a
big map going to each area that is gold to talk to certain characters. After doing this
you will come to an event where you will end up in a fight. Always save before a
event or you may very well lose hours of play. My only problem with the story wasn
t with the story its self but there are a few typos her and there.
The battles are turn based meaning you get to move all of your characters and use
actions and then end your turn and your enemies will do the same. At the start of

60. Hardcore Mudd Run Experience Report
After running both CMC and ROC Race on Saturday in Brooklyn NY, I jumped
back in my Prius and drove over 250 miles to Pennsylvania to run the Extreme
version of the Hardcore Mudd Run course. Registration and Festival: HMR ran
both Saturday and Sunday, so turnout on Sunday was lower and registration was
fast and easy. The festival area was set up well with a band for the several live
bands that played for days. Pre race MC: HMR didn t have an actual MC per say,
but the local Fire Department came and provided a very beautiful and emotional
memorial service for all those lost on September 11th. The Course: The course
offered three versions, the Sprint, the Ultra, and the Extreme versions. I opted to
run the Extreme because it was the longest distance and offered the most obstacles.
I researched the obstacles and course prior to deciding to run HRM, but I had no
idea how much of the course was going to be spent going both up and down the
Tussey Ski Mountain. According to my GPS watch, the Extreme version of the

The course also had a hard crawl obstacle that I have never seen before called
Hands and Knees, which was a crawl under three sections of very heavy chain link
fence. I was very happy that I arrived to this obstacle with several other racers,
because it required team work to crawl under all three sections of chain link fence.

technical trails to climb both down and back up, this section of course had a lot of
