There has been increase in the use of personal digital assistants, or PDAs, by
individuals Traumatic Brain Injury or TBI. These devices are being used to help TBI
patients with everyday activities such as keeping up with appointments, medication
management, daily tasks, etc. Due to behavioral memory deficits that are common
among TBI patients, these daily activities are difficult for these individuals. In the
past low tech items were used such as daily planners and strategically placed notes,
but due to the growth of high tech instruments, such as smartphones, personal
computers, and PDAs, the low tech devices are being used less (Gentry, Wallace,
Kvarfordt, Lynch 2008 19 24). In the early stages of high tech device use among TBI
patients there were three popular computerprograms that were used, but they were
contained to desktop computers, which makes them useless outside of the
individual s home. Once PDA s were introduced these programs became obsolete.
An early study of PDA use included the use a program called Psion Organizer. The
study found that most TBI patients with memory deficits preferred the PDA and
Psion Organizer over other low tech instruments. The Psion Organizer software is
no longer available and been replaced with other software such as Palm systems.
There has not been a study done on the Palm operating system. Research has been
done on software specifically developed for TBI patients(Gentry, Wallace, Kvarfordt,

Forms Of Oppressionation Of The Holocaust
Many when discussing the events of genocide often analyze the systems of
oppression used against the targeted groups. These forms of oppression are often
systemic and multilateral. When examining the Holocaust, one of history s, and
humanity s, most infamous and darkest moments, we see the varying forms of
oppression in cases such as political censorship in the form of imprisonment of those
who leaned left, economic persecution when their means and standard of living was
forcibly taken from them such as their businesses, houses, and jobs, as well as the
forced relocation and deportation to the ghettos and finally the concentration camps.
Many however, do not see the effects of oppression post genocide, as many could
argue that silencing different interpretations and mediums that memorializing
genocide can actually be forms of oppression towards survivors, as their stories and
expression are not utilized when creating the holistic memory of the Holocaust.
The idea of an official narrative of the Holocaust and its memorialization is rooted
more closely in its recall of emotion than in establishing factual and divergent
interpretations of experiences, this constructive forgetting, (Christie, 2) meaning that
creating a singular memory narrative of pain and suffering is more pressing than in
attempting to portray divergent and intersectional experiences during the genocide.
While this constrictive forgetting can be very successful in spreading awareness of
the genocide, it can also sometimes ostracize works of memorialization by actual
survivors representation of every victim and survivor s narrative, meaning their own
purpose and experience of the Holocaust can sometimes be sacrificed for the purpose
of invoking greater emotion in order to spread the national consciousness of the gross

The guide to the Basin plan states that the range of water needed to be returned to
the river system is between 3856 GL and 6983 GL. This is to secure the health of
river system. The volume of water defined in the revised plan is only 2750 GL/y,

sufficient data to adjust the recovery of surface water. This is shown in the statement

since groundwater system is linked closely to surface water. The revised plan does
not take the relationship between groundwater and surface water into consideration
and it assumes that they are two separate systems. This results in an inaccurate
increase in SDL of groundwater resource.
