Life experience. This is a complicated and sticky area: whether you are offering workplace training, adult education, or direct assessment, you likely recognize that learning comes from a variety of providers and experiences in life, and sometimes, assessing that learning can be a challenge. Yet, if we are to build the most skilled and capable workforce, we first need to recognize competencies, skills and talents in an accessible and equitable manner.
Our guests today are going to help us unpack the complexity of recognizing prior learning. We’re also going to consider how digital badges can assist in this process.
Badges can be easily shared on professional and social networks, resumes, email signatures - anywhere the earner wants to display their achievement.
