• Always make sure people understand the why, what, when and how.
• Start with making clear why we need to change, then inspire them
with scenario’s that speak to them and with great new functionality.
• Offer a clear learning path. This is what you will learn, this is how long
it will take, this is how it will benefit you.
• Use persona’s to map users to learning scenario’s, support them on
their own level and in their own tempo.
• Offer the same content over multiple channels, using different
learning styles.

• For most users Office 365 is just a tool, not a way of living. It should
help users, not increase user anxiety
• It’s about winning people over, not about force feeding them
• Beware of information overload

Adoption is not a project, it is a process. Should continue after the
implementation project. But how?
Some ideas:
• Try to get a seperate budget for adoption program
• Set up a permanent location for sharing and finding knowledge
(Teams, Yammer, SharePoint)
• Set up a permanent Team (or Yammer group) for your champions and
find champions that like to keep the team going
• Add refresher courses and self service
