My topic for my James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) research project is about solar panels. I wanted
to learn about how they work and how they were created. Sometimes when I m outside, I think about
how do we get energy from the sun? How can the sun power something as large as the JWST? As I
researched my project, I learned that the solar panels of the JWST are honey combed shaped. Also, the
panels are gold but not made out of real gold. Additionally, the mirrors are six times the size of Hubble
