a. Retrospective Audit: Auditing is done after ( back
)the patient receives the care or after the discharge of
the patient.
b. Concurrent Audit: Done while patient is receiving the
care. It includes assessing the patient at the bedside
in relation to pre-determined ( starting seening
)criteria, interviewing the staff responsible for this
care and review the patients record and care plan.
c. Prospective Audit: Attempts are to identify how
future performance
( future performance se affected )will be affected by
current interventions.

1. Internal Audit
Carried out continuously by the hospital staff
and which consist of process of obstructing the
