Matt Cummings, will examine the efforts by the Hartman House and how we incorporate data tracking with student volunteering, events, and student one-on-ones. Participants will gain an understanding of data tracking methods, how to report data, and how to build data collecting into their programs.
Change refers to altering the current state or nature of something, while improvement means enhancing or bettering something without fundamentally changing its nature. Change is necessary for improvement, but change does not always lead to improvement. For change to result in improvement, it must be implemented through a well-managed process with a goal of adding value. There are three types of change: developmental change which improves an existing situation; transitional change which implements a new plan or process; and transformational change which is outside of one's control and must be adapted to.

31. Laiko nuotoliniam mokymuisi skaičiavimas
• Laikas, kuris reikalingas paskirtoms užduotims atlikti
• Laikas, kurį užima komunikavimas su dėstytoju ir bendramoksliais
• Laikas, kurio reikia nurodytai literatūrai perskaityti
• Laikas reikalingos medžiagos paieškai
• Laikas kontaktiniam nuotoliniam mokymuisi
• Laikas, skirtas susipažinti su mokymosi aplinka
• Jeigu besimokantysis anksčiau nebuvo susipažinęs su nuotolinio mokymosi
aplinka, gali prireikti 8–24 val. papildomo darbo.
• Elektroniniam komunikavimui skiriamas laikas yra 100–200 žodžių per
minutę.
• Naujai programinei įrangai įsisavinti reikia numatyti 8 val. Taip pat
studentas gali sugaišti laiko dėl techninių nesklandumų.
• Nuotolinio mokymosi kontaktinės valandos skaičiuojamos analogiškai kaip
ir tradicinių mokymo metodų.

32. Savarankiškam užduočių atlikimui skiriamas laikas priklauso nuo
užduoties tipo
• Rašto darbas. Darbo laikas apskaičiuojamas pagal formulę: 100 žodžių/1
valanda.
• Žodinis pristatymas. Jei pristatymo trukmė 1 val., jam paruošti reikia
mažiausiai 6 val.
• Literatūros skaitymas:
1. žvalgomasis skaitymas;
2. Atidus, analitinis skaitymas pasižymint svarbiausius dalykus;
3. Peržiūrėjimas (pasikartojimas).
100-ui puslapių lengvai skaitomo teksto reikia 20 val., 100-ui puslapių
sunkaus teksto arba teksto užsienio kalba reikia 30 val.
Skaitomo teksto įsisavinimui reikalingą laiką galima apskaičiuoti ir pagal teksto
sudėtingumą bei žodžių kiekį. Laikas dar turi būti padaugintas iš skaičiaus,
parodančio, kiek kartų skaityta (pvz., 3 kartai).
