The Creatures Outside Looked From Pig To Men In Animal...
In the book Animal Farm the last sentence is, The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from
man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which (Orwell,
p.141). This quote is saying that the pigs are not human, but their greed is just like a human.
In the book animal farm the pigs end up acting like humans at the end, which was one of the initial
rules that humans are bad. They are taking their power into granted and acting like a human. This is an
analogy because Orwell is comparing the pigs to a man. This quote is the last sentence in the book and
it is said by the narrator. It fits the plot because it wraps up the whole concept of how Napoleon and
the other pigs took advantage are now

Gun Control Mechanism
Introduction
In America, one of the major challenges for security agencies is to have Gun control. Several innocent
people s lives have been taken by this weapon and led to great moaning in the U.S. Likewise, different
people have been left immobilized due to increase gun violence crime. In the United States, these
types of challenge are arising because of issuing providing possession of unlicensed guns. For the aim
of reducing crime rates due to gun, governments must make strict balance on gun distribution, as well
as illegalize its ownership without any exception to any conditions (DeConde, 2003).
Therefore, gun violence is explained as the utilization of firearms to produce harm. Moreover, this
term signifies the general guns misuse, so broadly, it can be described as a violence and crime class
committed with the help of firearms which might not cover self defense actions, practices for law
enforcement, sports along with hunting others (DeConde, 2003).
Further includes careful use of weapons to murder, produce injury or threaten people. Among children
and adolescents, it is common who wind up providing trouble to them along with the public. The
positioning of this paper is Gun control.
Mechanisms for Implementing Gun Control
Many ways are now available for the implementation of the gun control. Getting it from the legislation
and experience of U.K, gun control must be the only government duty in addition to private security
organizations. In the U.S., it is

Bosque Redondo Assassination
Following his arrival to the American Southwest in 1862, Brigadier General James Henry Carleton of
the Union Army would oversee the process of destroying Native American powers throughout the
Territory until his reassignment in 1867. The Navajo s or Diné , in their language, were one such
power that Carleton set about destroying. The process of destruction took many forms as the tribes
faced both physical and cultural assaults from the American military, while the New Mexican citizens,
and rival tribes of Native Americans engaged in raids, attacks, and taking captives from the Navajos.
In its final stage, this destruction took form as Bosque Redondo, a reservation planned as an
experiment by Carleton to finalize the pacification of Native ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Bosque Redondo and Fort Sumner were located together where there had been a grove of cottonwood
trees that sat along the Pecos River.,. Carleton had supported the reservation as the last step to Indian
removal in the area, seeking to drive the Navajos from their homeland to the reservation by way of
violence. Furthermore, he made various attempts to have it explained to the Navajos that Bosque
Redondo was their only means of salvation. To Navajo chiefs Barboncito and Delgadito, Carlton
wished it explained that those Navajos who claimed not to be guilty of murder and robbery, that for
their own preservation and as a means of validating their innocence, must come to Bosque Redondo as
a means of separating themselves from the guilty parties. Carleton explained to his subordinates that
they had no power to negotiate surrender with the Navajos, and that they must explain the conditions
by which surrender could be accepted, stating that if approached by Navajos seeking peace it should
be explained to them that they must, Go to the Bosque Redondo, or we will pursue and destroy you.
We will not make peace with you on any other terms It was by this process that the Navajo as a power
were intended to be destroyed, with even innocent parties forced to subject themselves to the will of
the United States through internment at Bosque

The Performance Of The Car Under Test
The analysis of the performance of the car under test was completed using AVL Cruise software.
Various Graphs are obtained so that the actual performance of the car can be determined. Graph 1
(Abundance) prominently shows the torque of the engine at the respective engine speed along with the
specific fuel consumption at that speed. Approximately 230Nm is the maximum torque that can be
obtained at 4200 rpm, trailed by decrease in torque for the remaining speed. A cycle run was
conducted for three different periods of cycle in which the vehicle was accelerated then hold and
decelerated for certain time depending upon the requirement of cycle. Graph 2 A shows the change in
velocity upon change in acceleration for three different cycle times. Also the shift of gears during the
period can be observed. Graph 2 B illustrates consumption of the fuel during the three different stages.
It can be noted that when the velocity was about 50 km/h the fuel consumption was about 5.0 l/h. Also
it significantly notifies that during idling the fuel consumption is 1.6 l/h. In this Graph it can be
inferred that the maximum operating pressure is 12 Bar for a speed of 4200rpm. Maximum fuel is
consumed during the start of the engine at 0.5 bar, fuel consumption gradually decreases with increase
in engine speed. Graph 3 speaks about the maximum operating pressure is 12 Bar for a speed of
4200rpm. Maximum fuel is consumed during the start of the engine at 0.5 bar and also between 0 bar
and 1.6 bar at

The Thucydides Trap Summary
Mr. Allison first coined the phrase The Thucydides Trap, a trap where a rising power will inevitably
challenge the ruling power that could most likely end in war. The Thucydides Trap is occurring in the
21st century between the US, the ruling power, and China, the rising power, who are getting
increasingly more powerful on the international stage. War is most likely possible between the two
powers, but past history shows that the US and China can get out of the trap through peaceful means.
The first evidence that the author uses to support his thesis is previous examples of the ruling power
being challenged by the rising power. The first example that author uses is the rivalry between Athens
and Sparta, which ended with the Peloponnesian war and with Sparta the victor. The war happened
because Sparta and Athens had entangling alliances with other city states who went to war with each
other and called the superpowers into the war. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Even though previously they were on friendly terms, the UK felt threatened by Germany goal of
having a powerful navy and sought allies in Europe to counteract Germany. The entangling alliances
that UK and Germany made brought the whole world into WW1, which ended as the UK and its allies
as the victors. Although 12 out of 16 examples of the Thucydides Trap ended in war, the chart in the
article shows that it is possible to get out through peaceful means.
The second evidence to support his thesis is that the Chinese economy will overtake the US economy.
The Chinese economy is rising significantly, its economy in 1980 was smaller than the Netherlands,
while in 2014 the Chinese increment of growth of its GDP is equal to the entire Dutch economy. As
shown in the GDP chart in the article, the Chinese GDP is growing significantly compared to the rest
of the world and didn t even stopped during the 2008 financial crisis and the Great

In the article The Coweb: Can The Internet be archived , Lepore relayed her belief that the Internet is a

the relationship. She rejects the belief that the Internet is complete and can record or save everything

Film Analysis Of Will Leitch s Sausage Party
In recent discussions of the movie Sausage Party, a controversial issue had been brought up over the
film s comedic styles and overall theme. On one hand, some argue that the unique comedic choices the
film employs are what makes the film hilarious. From this perspective, Will Leitch, a film critic from
the New Republic, finds many of the comedic styles funny. On the other hand, others argue that the
comedy is rather juvenile and offensive. In the words of Andrew O Hehir, one of this view s main
critic, the film is a juvenile, sex obsessed cartoon. In sum, then, the issue is whether the comedic styles
of this film adds to or subtracts from this film.
My own view is that this film was overall hilarious and deeply philosophical. Though I ... Show more

Despite the fact that their creators are known for their lifestyles, it shouldn t deny the fact that the film
did a wonderful job satirizing Pixar style films. The movie in many scenes portray the characters as
artistically appealing but there lies in the joke within their relation to humans, the cute food are meant
to be ruthlessly prepared and eaten by the humans. In the scene where the food were taken out of their
packages expecting eternal joy, they were met instead with knives cutting them up and hot water
boiling them to death. The screams and horrors of the food that was smiling just right before serves as
the main punchline as the reality behind inanimate objects and humans. Contrasting with pixar style
films where they show a glorified adventure without the cruel reality these object really face. With that
being said, there is merit in Andrew s argument due to the insane amount of juvenile jokes within the
story through the usage jokes, stereotypes and a sex scene between food at the end. Despite this, I
fully believe that this movie had value because of the satire and revelation within the movie. On the
contentious topic of comedy, Leitch believes that the overuse of stereotypes eventually makes the
movie funny, Hehir feels that it s simply a way to cover up the pointlessness of the story. A defining
feature of Sausage Party would be the amount of jokes jam packed in a short amount of time. Humor
ranging from insensitive stereotypes to food puns

Understanding The Value Of Health Economics
Understanding the value of health economics is very important during this rapidly changing
environment. Health economics is the study of how transactions or connections between health and
the resources needed are made and of the bottom line results (Getzen, 2013). Resources include
money but also people, materials and time that could have been used in other ways. Our healthcare
needs may be unlimited but the resources we have to satisfy them are not. We must make careful
choices about which needs are most important and how to manage limited resources. Decision makers
take the information given to make choices about what new and existing medicines and technologic
advances will be used. Vaccines for example and other new technologies can be very costly.
Therefore, we must measure whether or not the benefits outweigh the costs (Teitelbaum Wilensky,
2013).
Health is important to us as individuals. As stated in Getzen (2013), health is so precious that its value
exceeds that of all the things we possess. Healthcare is one way of preventing and treating illness and
disease. Our country must make good decisions now for our future health. We need to carefully
evaluate and implement modern and emerging health technologies and advances (Getzen, 2013).
Americans needs to look at health care policy and understand what works and what does not work.
Health care policy and government involvement benefits society in many ways including improved
access to care, improved quality of

Essay In Defense of Food
ENGWR 301
13 February 2014
In Defense of Pollan When Michael Pollan s book The Omnivore s Dilemma was published, many
readers began questioning him for advice on what they should eat in order to stay healthy. In his more
recent book, In Defense of Food, he responds with three rules, Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants
(Pollan 1). This seven word response seems too simple for a relatively complicated question, but as he
further elaborates these rules into specific guidelines, this summary turns out to be surprisingly
complete. Using inductive and deductive reasoning, he debunks the ideas behind nutritionism and
food science, and proves that the western diet is the cause for food related diseases. Inductive
reasoning is when a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While nutritionism is suppose to scientifically guide us to eat healthy, Pollan points out that there is no
scientific evidence to back it. Instead, he provides research conducted by Harvard nutrition scientist
that proves the opposite. In the public s mind [...] words like low fat and fat free have been
synonymous with heart health. It is now increasingly recognized that low fat campaign has been based
on little scientific evidence and may have caused unintended health consequences. (Pollan 43). In
Based off these observations, Pollan uses inductive reasoning to draw the conclusion that nutritionism
is more harmful then helpful. When Pollan s states to eat food as his first rule, he means exactly that,
eat real food. While this statement seems so obvious that it shouldn t need to be a rule, Pollan explains
how we are trapped by the Western diet and that access to real food over highly processed food
products is harder then it seems. Taking food s place on the shelves has been an unending stream of
foodlike substitutes, some seventeen thousands new ones every year (Pollan 147). For those that don t
know, the Western diet is a term coined to describe our pattern of eating, which is characterized by lots
of processed foods and meat, lots of added fat and sugar, lots of everything except fruits, vegetables,
and whole grains (Pollan 89). Using deductive reasoning,

Aesop’s Fables
Aesop s Fables Introduction: I already know a good amount about the Aesop s fables before doing any
real research. Almost everyone as a child was introduced to the stories such as the boy who cried wolf
or the tortoise and the hare . As a child many adults would read these stories to me because they have
a very strong moral. It can guide children to do the right thing when they are in doubts. I have a very
personal experience with the tortoise and the hare because since I am a tennis player, my coaches
would always mention these stories in regarding to practice and how we should be playing. This
actually taught me a lot and made me the player I am today. I know that all fables are made up so that
they can teach a life lesson/moral to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These are both stories that have animals as characters and convey a moral for the characters action.
For example, the tortoise and the hare is the story of a hare that was way too cocky and thought he
could run really fast then take a nap and run fast again while the tortoise was a humble animal and just
went at a slow pace to the finish line. The tortoise ended up winning because while the hare was
sleeping, he was going at his slow pace but did not stop until he finished. This is a typical type of fable
because it is short and sweet, has animals as characters, and shows a moral that comes out of the
characters actions. Many fables have good and bad animal characters to convey the good things that
come from good actions, and the bad things from bad actions. The majority of the fables you will read
will have characters that show what happens to the good animal and what happens to the bad one.
Stories like, the tortoise and the hare, the bat and the birds, the dog and the wolf, and the fox and the
goat are just a few to name. In all of them however we see the good that comes from being someone
good and the bad for the bad character. This is what conveys the moral and shows the reader how you
want to be. These animals help show the moral because as animals we feel for them and it shows us
what happens when you re good or bad. And it is also easier for kids to relate to animals rather than
anything else because they get attached to them and since fables

Social Conformity In The Fountainhead, By Ayn Rand
In a world plagued by the infinite expansion of corruptness, human beings are tainted by the natural
tendency to succumb to the horrors of social conformity. This social conditioning is the source of all
challenges that individuals are faced with in life. In the masterpiece The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand,
the protagonist Howard Roark is considered to be a moral ideal that others must attempt to mirror. In
the midst of unimaginable distress and agony, Roark remains valiant and never ceases to remain true
to himself. Rand considered this trait to be one in which society should abide by a quality of
stubbornness to shuffle into the river of social acceptance. While many regard Roark to be an
outstanding role model, to imitate his ideals would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While Howard Roark has a unique way of living his life, based on objectivism, attempting to emulate
this behavior is a paradox upon itself. Roark does not wish to be the symbol of anything. [He s] only
[himself] (602). While creating a character who is a moral ideal to emulate might have been what Ayn
Rand wished while writing The Fountainhead, she is contacting the very beliefs that Roark abides by.
Roark is a man of honor and dignity a man who would never turn his back on his morals. The most
important rule of Roark s philosophy is to be able to stand by one s beliefs. If an individual attempts to
emulate Roark s morals, then he/she is breaking the fundamental concept of objectivism. As stated in
plain text by Roark, reason can be fought with reason (346). While the reasoning behind emulating
Roark s behavior may be valid, it is impossible for one to do so without disgracing the objectivistic
lifestyle. While Howard Roark is an exceptional character in literature that has made a profound mark
on the advancement of human growth, who is to say that the polar opposite of Roark could not also be
considered a moral ideal ? In the eyes of Walt Whitman, whatever satisfies the soul is

This passage educates the reader thoroughly about Amir and his affection for his past life childhood
experiences in Afghanistan, thus clearly reflecting the theme American Dream . This is evident as the
reader is clearly able to envision Amir`s attatchment to Afghanistan as he experiences a reminisence of
the past. This indicates Amir definetly had a difficult time in making a decision of departing from
Afghanistan as it would imply as if he erased a part of him. Prior to the remembrance of the past, Amir
has an inner feeling as if he does not truly belong in Afghanistan. Nevertheless, Farid insults Amir

Leading up to this, Amir feels as if he had been long gone enough to forget and be forgotten(Hosseini

he has returned to experience the highlights of his life. Although the existence of Kabul is unknown,
but Amir`s inner thoughts believe that maybe, just maybe Kabul does exist somewhere in the yonder.
Even though Amir had a slight thought that he took part in the betrayal of Hassan his own illegitamate

they both shared in Kabul. But the recurring thought ot of the blindfolded man from my dream had

Both of them were very prepared to give the speech, was very clear that they have practice the speech

powerful experience that gave her the strength to fight and be heard. However Emma Watson also has
passion about the subject.
They both Called to Action. Malala Yousafzai started six sentences by saying We Call upon... and
Emma said I am reaching out to you because I need your help...
Malala only looked down to her notes once while delivering her speech, she looked down and

Aristotle On Prejudice
In the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga s performance of Eurydice, there are key elements that
set this performance aside from others. Likewise, Aristotle was an ancient Greek philosopher who
carries heavy influence on thought. Therefore, Aristotle has certain ideas as to what elements drama
should try to accomplish. This specific performance of Eurydice ties in all six of these elements of
drama, which includes plot, theme, character, diction, music, and spectacle. As far as plot goes, this
particular play is fairly rapid in scene changes and, at times, it can be difficult to follow. However, the
audience can concisely follow the main plot of this play. The production opens with a couple,
Eurydice and Orpheus, getting engaged on a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, there was a distinct noise associated with the Lord anytime he was onstage, even before
we knew he was the Lord of the Underworld. The use of sound to make audience connection was a
key factor in the performance. Likewise, there was a particular melody that was mirrored throughout
the performance that was initially sung by Orpheus. This ties back to the characterization of Orpheus
through sound and music. Also, music is an important piece of his life, so much so that he describes
Eurydice s strands of hair as individual instruments. The use of music throughout the play acts to

Traveling Is The World s Piggy Bank
Traveling Effects
Going to a new place can be scary and exciting, while visiting relatives can be familiar and . Traveling
has many effects overall The point is the sky is the limit; traveling gives personal insight into the
world beyond the bedroom window; it gives us a license to become a citizen of the world.
First, traveling is the world s piggy bank. In the year 2015 a total of 650.8 billion dollars was spent by
domestic and international travelers on leisure ( U.S. Travel Answer Sheet ). For example, the money
spent on those amazing adventures available. Like scuba diving, parasailing, and even trying new
foods. A burger for example will cost more in a different location then it might at home. The cost of
living plays into how much should be saved, depending on the destination. Likewise, the economy
worldwide profits from all the traveling that goes on. The tax revenue for 2015 was 147.9 billion
dollars ( U.S. Travel Answer Sheet ). Thus proving traveling is encouraged and a great way to spend
without feeling guilty. Furthermore, it helps build jobs! 15.1 million to be exact in the year 2015 ( U.S.
Travel Answer Sheet ). How wonderful it is to be helping the world especially those third world
countries. Tourism is encouraged and it is providing profit for the world instead of just one country.
What a great way to add points to a world citizen license.
Equally, important traveling is life changing. By going outside, the usual area, city, state, country can

The Medications She Takes For Her Mental Health Essay
I interviewed Susan on September 9, 2016 about the medications she takes for her mental health.
Susan is a 45 year old female. She has one daughter Hannah, age 16. Susan and Hannah s father were
divorced when Hannah was three years old. Hannah currently lives with Susan during the week and
visits her father, who lives about an hour away, every other weekend, some holidays, and several
weeks during the summer. Susan lives in Simi Valley and works full time in West Los Angeles to
support herself and daughter. Susan takes two psychopharmacology drugs for her mental health. The
first is a 20 mg fluoxetine (Prozac) pill which she takes once a day in the morning to help with her
depression. The second is a 1 mg Lorazepam (Ativan) pill which she takes for stress when needed.
She usually takes half a Lorazepam pill three to four times a week when she experiences anxiety and
chest pain. Rarely does she need to take Lorazepam during the day.
Susan started taking these medications approximately thirteen years ago, a couple years after she
divorced her husband. While married she had an extremely unhealthy relationship with her husband
and his family and she basically did slave labor for his family s carpet cleaning business for ten years.
Shortly after the divorce her ex husband remarried a woman who made Susan and Hannah s life
miserable. The new wife constantly threatened to take Susan to court to get custody of Hannah. She
was verbally abusive to Susan including calling her a

Hamlet Reflection Essay
To become familiar with this play, I would first, before anything else, look up it s history . I would
research William Shakespeare (the author of Hamlet), and I would then read the general information
and expand from there. I would consider general information things like, the time period it is set in,
where the story takes place, etc. To expand on those things, I would do research on that time period
and setting and get to know the culture and traditions they had. After, I would read the play and
analyze the purpose and intended audience because I greatly feel that those tow things impact the
contest immensely. To get a starting idea on props, set design, costumes, etc. I would hold out more
research with a concentration on the things listed before to make sure everything is historically
accurate. (Because we all know there will be some history major in the audience shaking their head
when they see something just a little bit off.) After I feel that I have a strong grasp on the play and it s
history, I would pick out a few more things. For example, the time that Shakespeare writes the play in.
I also would try to identify the pathos and ethos characteristics in the play. Once all of that was done
and I felt like an expert on the show and on Shakespeare and I had a few rough draft ideas on technical
and production side of things, I would YouTube other performances of it to see other people s creative
views on it to brainstorm some ideas. Then I d finally crack down and

Drama Is Not Just Composed By The Actors Essay
Drama is not just consisting by the actors dialogue and movements; there is also a very special consist
part is chorus. Chorus usually plays a pretty important role in drama, and it also has different functions
in different storyline, and promotes the process of the story. Its location is irreplaceable. This paper
will take the scripts, which are Lysistrata (Aritophanes) and Despatch (Angie Farrow, 2015) as the
example, comparative analysis the role of the chorus in this two scripts. It will discuss the narrative
device of the chorus functions. The way to help the story of the play telling by chorus and allow the
narrative to unfold will be discussed in this paper, too.
The role of the chorus in the drama is just like a novel or a story s narrator. In the case of the chorus
does not involve the using of lines of actors, it tells a story to the audience and provide some
information to them. For example, it tells the narrative structure of the drama, and succinct
information or comments. Chorus connects the relationship between the audience and the actors, and
became an intermediary agent between drama and the audience. The audience through the chorus to
blend into the story, but the chorus is not let audience immersed in the story completely while they
watching it, it guaranteed to help viewers to watch the drama as an onlooker. It can help audience to
follow the story framework and rhythm of the drama by what they designed.

Capitalist Business Case Study
1. My church is set up very similar to a capitalist business in many different ways. One of these ways
is we take collection every Sunday. I see taking collection as similar to how the government taxes. We
use the collection in the church to keep it running and make improvements, just as the government
uses our taxes. If the church needs something fixed or wants to renovate, they use the money collected
in collection. The church also uses this money to pay for utility bills, and to pay the pastor and any
other paid positions in the church. Another way my church is similar to a capitalist business is, before
making any major decisions concerning money, it is first run by the board to receive approval. They
then discuss the pros and cons of spending the money, and then they vote.

Our church mirrors democratic governments in many different ways. The first way is how it is set up
into different categories. We have the pastor, the elders, the deacons, and the secretary. These different
positions also have people under them just in case of an emergency. Just like the President has a vice
president just in case something happens. All of these different rolls in the church compare very
closely to our government. The elders make most of the decisions, then they run it by the pastor, and
then the congregation votes. An example of this is when we have a guest speaker in the church, or are
doing construction, or renovation. This is a very democratic way of running things. We also have a
business meeting every year with all the members of the church to elect new deacons and secretaries.
The pastor and elders are voted on differently. Pastors and Elders are only voted on once every four
years, just as the president of the United States is. All of these things are greatly influenced by the
government of the country we live in. We use it as a model to model what should be done in our

Unknown Blood Cells Lab Report
Introduction When foreign antigens enter the body, chemical signals are dispatched to different parts
of the immune system and send it into action. B lymphocytes produce the antigen specific antibodies.
The antibodies will then attach to the antigen/virus and T lymphocytes will attack the antigen that the
antibody has bound itself to. Once the antigen has been eliminated phagocytes, which are cells that
absorb bacteria and other small particles/substances, will come through and absorb the remains of the
antigen/infection. In a forensic setting antibodies can also be used to identify an unknown
blood/protein. The purpose of this experiment is to use the process of immunoprecipitation to identify

School Uniforms Are Inefficient And Unnecessary Summary
In the article , School Uniforms Are Inefficient and Unnecessary, by the American Civil Liberties
Union (ACLU) OF Nevada, the ACLU of Nevada successfully builds an argument in opposition to
institution of uniforms in school by alluding to historical precedents, appealing to patriotism, and
using ethos to foster a sense of solidarity. The ACLU of Nevada wastes no time in starting its
argument as evident in its historical reference during the introductory paragraph. The ACLU of
Nevada argues that the First Amendment, the right to freedom of speech, is granted to every American
citizen and that, students do not shed their constitutional rights at the schoolhouse gate, an opinion
from the free speech case during the Vietnam war. Additionally, the ACLU of Nevada mentions that as
a result of the case involving the students expressing their free speech rights during the Vietnam war

Communism In Latin America
Among the ways the United States tried to curb the spread of communism in Latin America, was
interfere in the inner policies of their countries. They were involving themselves in Nicaragua, El
Salvador, and Guatemala. They were trying to convince Latin America that it was in their best
interests to stay away from communist beliefs.
America was afraid that if communism spread to the neighboring countries it would eventually come
to the United States, so they felt it was their duty to prevent it from ever entering Latin America, to nip
it in the bud . If they succeeded in stopping the advancement of communism to Latin America, they
would not have to worry about communism spreading throughout the world.
Of course their fear of communism was only a precursor to the real reason America was tangling in
the other nation s affairs. America also believed Latin American dictators were very soft on

Dharma Bums Analysis
This week we started the reading of the Dharma Bums, which is related to Zen Buddhism. In addition,
we also get in touch with some Zen stories. Zen stories are usually very short and easy to read, using
just couple of sentences to tell people the main thoughts of Zen. When first read them, I found some of
them are interesting and easy to understand, at least part of the meaning, while some of them are
confusing. MUDDY ROAD is one of the several Zen stories we read in class. This story talks about
the two monks, Tanzan and Ekido. When they met a lovely girl who was unable to cross the stream.
Tanzan took the girl in his arms and helped the girl across the stream. Ekido did not say anything at

Goldilocks Research Synthesis Essay
To juxtapose this argument made by the REH, the next key factor is something called the habitable
zone. The habitable zone is defined as a region within which Earth like planets might possess the
moderate environmental conditions for advanced life to form (von Bloh). Many of these new planets
discovered are gas giants with atmospheres too turbulent to support life, so these planets habitable
zone is said to be low or nonexistent. The existence of Earth like planets, however, is just as common
as the existence of these extreme planets. Traits of the habitable zone, such as a carbon silicate cycle,
solar luminosity, and plate tectonics, were analyzed for 200 different possible Earth like planets in
Franck, von Bloh, and Bounama s research. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These conditions can range from the temperature of the universe, the background radiation leftover
from the Big Bang, and the amount of elements located in the universe. It is a well known fact that
organic molecules are common within the universe. As stated before, galaxies consist of billions of
stars and then multiply that by the amount of galaxies in the universe; one can see why there are a
plethora of stars. When stars die, the ones that explode, through a process called a supernova, release
enough heavy elements into space that are essential for life to begin. Vilenkin states that the
shockwave of these explosions are enough to propel these heavier elements into areas of dense clouds
that have the potential to form new binary systems of a star and a planet. This new planet now has the
chance to form life. But, the REH claims that the destructive nature of space is more prone to killing
off any budding life than to help life develop. There is galactic cannibalism, which is when two
galaxies collide and ripe each other apart with the force of gravity, or even stars dying can be a
catalyst to the end of extraterrestrial life forming. According to Vilekin and other astronomers, the
universe has been cooling down, albeit slowly and over the course of billions of years; but this seems
to be beneficial to the potential existence of other life. This cooling universe has become

A World Order By Jhumpa Lahiri
Nair attempts to interpret and relocate the characters from their succinct semantic images on paper and
re cast them as believable entities embodying social, economic and psychological baggage in an
essentially postmodern world order. In Lahiri s novel, a world order presents itself where people like
Ashoke and Ashima are subconsciously put on the fringes of the mainstream American society, in part
by their attitude and approach to the new, almost alien societal and cultural experiences and
circumstances and in part by the reaction to their reaction by the world around them. And this is
essentially a conflicting world order where there is an intent to adapt to this bewildering newness
around while there is equally strong a yearning for the familiar and much cherished roots. The two
characters (Ashima more visibly so) are torn, as it were, between the two worlds, and struggling to
conform to either! Into this palpable melee comes the son. The second generation of Indian
immigrants and a first born American citizen of Bengali origin who is bestowed with a name

a space that might be essentially regarded as an interstice or gap between the American public sphere

Narrative is plays a role of importance just as much as the characters themselves. The narrative of the
characters is very much a depiction of reality; fragmented and without a set way of telling a story. The
narrative in the film is structured in a way that is a representation of how we as human beings live and
lead our lives on an everyday basis. the film comments on the struggle of children and women, and
how unjust the system can be against them. For example, in the film, we encounter Rehka, a prostitute
who has a daughter to take care of. As a mother, biggest fear comes to life when authorities take her
child away and place her daughter in an orphanage. They hope to sell off the virginity of the young
girl, and sell her body to the person who pays the biggest price. This depicts how families can be torn
apart due to an unfair economical system that they do not benefit from. The mother is taken away
from her child and feels lost, much like Krishna and his mother, separated from each other. The film
shows how little care people have in families, especially ones that are run by women. They do not care

Grover s Corners In Our Town By Thornton Wilder
When plays are written, the author s life heavily influences the play s writing style, plot, and theme.
Thornton Wilder is an author whose life impacts his play, Our Town. This play tells the story of the
fictional town, Grover s Corners, over the years. Due to his travels and experiences, Thornton Wilder
realizes that all communities are essentially the same. This view is present in his play.
One of the factors that contribute to Thornton Wilder s perspective is his experience as an
archaeologist. Between the ages of 29 and 30, Wilder spent a year studying archaeology and learning
about classic works of literature at the American Academy in Rome (Johns). This helps him realize
how different communities across time and cultures overcome the same obstacles. Since Wilder learns
about the issues affecting society, he includes them in his play. Although Grover s Corners seems like
a perfect community, it also has to deal with issues such as lack of culture, suicides, and inequality
(Mccarter). For instance, at the beginning of the play, when an audience member asks the stage
manager if there is any culture in Grover s Corners, the stage manager responds, well ma am ... Show

signifies that Grover s Corners is actually everyone s Town. By naming the play Our Town Wilder
causes the audience to understand how Grover s Corners is not just a single, specific community.

The Impacts of Outsourcing Jobs on US Labor Market
America has always been the leader in science and innovation. It has the best universities and research
labs. Many successful entrepreneurs have been raised from this nation. Thus, it has to take benefit
from these significant comparative advantages to generate new pools of jobs for its people. As I
mentioned in the introduction, we should let history to be our guide to plan for future. Toward the end
of the last century Japan was getting ahead of U.S. in most aspects of technology and industry
including in automotive and home appliance industries. Most economists at that time predicted that in
near future Japan s economy would pass America s economy, but this did not happen. Thanks to
Americans innovation and ingenuity, the Internet was born in U.S.A which became the prevalent
technology of the future and revived the U.S economy. Today, America is in need of such innovations.
The world is in shortage of energy and the oil and natural gas resources are running out. Therefore, the
price of energy will definitely increase. I believe that the capability of storing and using alternative
and renewable energies in day to day life can be the next big discovery that is very likely to revitalize
the economy and to create a new generation of jobs. Thus, emphasizing on research on alternative
energies can be a feasible strategy to maintain a healthy workforce in the mist of outsourcing.
In addition, America should prepare its new generation for the jobs and innovations of the 21th

In the book Animal Farm the last sentence is, The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which (Orwell, p.141). This quote is saying that the pigs are not human, but their greed is just like a human. In the book animal farm the pigs end up acting like humans at the end, which was one of the initial rules that humans are bad. They are taking their power into granted and acting like a human. This is an analogy because Orwell is comparing the pigs to a man. This quote is the last sentence in the book and it is said by the narrator. It fits the plot because it wraps up the whole concept of how Napoleon and the other pigs took advantage are now ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Several innocent people s lives have been taken by this weapon and led to great moaning in the U.S. Likewise, different people have been left immobilized due to increase gun violence crime. In the United States, these types of challenge are arising because of issuing providing possession of unlicensed guns. For the aim of reducing crime rates due to gun, governments must make strict balance on gun distribution, as well as illegalize its ownership without any exception to any conditions (DeConde, 2003). Therefore, gun violence is explained as the utilization of firearms to produce harm. Moreover, this term signifies the general guns misuse, so broadly, it can be described as a violence and crime class committed with the help of firearms which might not cover self defense actions, practices for law enforcement, sports along with hunting others (DeConde, 2003). • 4. Bosque Redondo Assassination Following his arrival to the American Southwest in 1862, Brigadier General James Henry Carleton of the Union Army would oversee the process of destroying Native American powers throughout the Territory until his reassignment in 1867. The Navajo s or Diné , in their language, were one such power that Carleton set about destroying. The process of destruction took many forms as the tribes faced both physical and cultural assaults from the American military, while the New Mexican citizens, and rival tribes of Native Americans engaged in raids, attacks, and taking captives from the Navajos. In its final stage, this destruction took form as Bosque Redondo, a reservation planned as an experiment by Carleton to finalize the pacification of Native ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Bosque Redondo and Fort Sumner were located together where there had been a grove of cottonwood trees that sat along the Pecos River.,. Carleton had supported the reservation as the last step to Indian removal in the area, seeking to drive the Navajos from their homeland to the reservation by way of violence. Furthermore, he made various attempts to have it explained to the Navajos that Bosque Redondo was their only means of salvation. To Navajo chiefs Barboncito and Delgadito, Carlton wished it explained that those Navajos who claimed not to be guilty of murder and robbery, that for their own preservation and as a means of validating their innocence, must come to Bosque Redondo as a means of separating themselves from the guilty parties. Carleton explained to his subordinates that they had no power to negotiate surrender with the Navajos, and that they must explain the conditions by which surrender could be accepted, stating that if approached by Navajos seeking peace it should be explained to them that they must, Go to the Bosque Redondo, or we will pursue and destroy you. We will not make peace with you on any other terms It was by this process that the Navajo as a power were intended to be destroyed, with even innocent parties forced to subject themselves to the will of the United States through internment at Bosque ... • 5. The Performance Of The Car Under Test The analysis of the performance of the car under test was completed using AVL Cruise software. Various Graphs are obtained so that the actual performance of the car can be determined. Graph 1 (Abundance) prominently shows the torque of the engine at the respective engine speed along with the specific fuel consumption at that speed. Approximately 230Nm is the maximum torque that can be obtained at 4200 rpm, trailed by decrease in torque for the remaining speed. A cycle run was conducted for three different periods of cycle in which the vehicle was accelerated then hold and decelerated for certain time depending upon the requirement of cycle. Graph 2 A shows the change in velocity upon change in acceleration for three different cycle times. Also the shift of gears during the period can be observed. Graph 2 B illustrates consumption of the fuel during the three different stages. It can be noted that when the velocity was about 50 km/h the fuel consumption was about 5.0 l/h. Also it significantly notifies that during idling the fuel consumption is 1.6 l/h. In this Graph it can be inferred that the maximum operating pressure is 12 Bar for a speed of 4200rpm. Maximum fuel is consumed during the start of the engine at 0.5 bar, fuel consumption gradually decreases with increase in engine speed. Graph 3 speaks about the maximum operating pressure is 12 Bar for a speed of 4200rpm. Maximum fuel is consumed during the start of the engine at 0.5 bar and also between 0 bar and 1.6 bar at ... • 6. The Thucydides Trap Summary Mr. Allison first coined the phrase The Thucydides Trap, a trap where a rising power will inevitably challenge the ruling power that could most likely end in war. The Thucydides Trap is occurring in the 21st century between the US, the ruling power, and China, the rising power, who are getting increasingly more powerful on the international stage. War is most likely possible between the two powers, but past history shows that the US and China can get out of the trap through peaceful means. The first evidence that the author uses to support his thesis is previous examples of the ruling power being challenged by the rising power. The first example that author uses is the rivalry between Athens and Sparta, which ended with the Peloponnesian war and with Sparta the victor. The war happened because Sparta and Athens had entangling alliances with other city states who went to war with each other and called the superpowers into the war. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Even though previously they were on friendly terms, the UK felt threatened by Germany goal of having a powerful navy and sought allies in Europe to counteract Germany. The entangling alliances that UK and Germany made brought the whole world into WW1, which ended as the UK and its allies as the victors. Although 12 out of 16 examples of the Thucydides Trap ended in war, the chart in the article shows that it is possible to get out through peaceful means. The second evidence to support his thesis is that the Chinese economy will overtake the US economy. The Chinese economy is rising significantly, its economy in 1980 was smaller than the Netherlands, while in 2014 the Chinese increment of growth of its GDP is equal to the entire Dutch economy. As shown in the GDP chart in the article, the Chinese GDP is growing significantly compared to the rest of the world and didn t even stopped during the 2008 financial crisis and the Great ... Let w and h represent the width and height of the image respectively. w and h are converted into w* and h* such that 8|w* and 8|h* are as follows in (1) and (2): Hence, w* x h* forms the new dimensions. • 9. Film Analysis Of Will Leitch s Sausage Party In recent discussions of the movie Sausage Party, a controversial issue had been brought up over the film s comedic styles and overall theme. On one hand, some argue that the unique comedic choices the film employs are what makes the film hilarious. From this perspective, Will Leitch, a film critic from the New Republic, finds many of the comedic styles funny. On the other hand, others argue that the comedy is rather juvenile and offensive. In the words of Andrew O Hehir, one of this view s main critic, the film is a juvenile, sex obsessed cartoon. In sum, then, the issue is whether the comedic styles of this film adds to or subtracts from this film. My own view is that this film was overall hilarious and deeply philosophical. Though I ... Despite the fact that their creators are known for their lifestyles, it shouldn t deny the fact that the film did a wonderful job satirizing Pixar style films. The movie in many scenes portray the characters as artistically appealing but there lies in the joke within their relation to humans, the cute food are meant to be ruthlessly prepared and eaten by the humans. In the scene where the food were taken out of their packages expecting eternal joy, they were met instead with knives cutting them up and hot water boiling them to death. The screams and horrors of the food that was smiling just right before serves as the main punchline as the reality behind inanimate objects and humans. Contrasting with pixar style films where they show a glorified adventure without the cruel reality these object really face. With that being said, there is merit in Andrew s argument due to the insane amount of juvenile jokes within the story through the usage jokes, stereotypes and a sex scene between food at the end. Despite this, I fully believe that this movie had value because of the satire and revelation within the movie. On the contentious topic of comedy, Leitch believes that the overuse of stereotypes eventually makes the movie funny, Hehir feels that it s simply a way to cover up the pointlessness of the story. • 11. Understanding The Value Of Health Economics Understanding the value of health economics is very important during this rapidly changing environment. Health economics is the study of how transactions or connections between health and the resources needed are made and of the bottom line results (Getzen, 2013). Resources include money but also people, materials and time that could have been used in other ways. Our healthcare needs may be unlimited but the resources we have to satisfy them are not. We must make careful choices about which needs are most important and how to manage limited resources. Decision makers take the information given to make choices about what new and existing medicines and technologic advances will be used. Vaccines for example and other new technologies can be very costly. Therefore, we must measure whether or not the benefits outweigh the costs (Teitelbaum Wilensky, 2013). Health is important to us as individuals. As stated in Getzen (2013), health is so precious that its value exceeds that of all the things we possess. Healthcare is one way of preventing and treating illness and disease. Our country must make good decisions now for our future health. We need to carefully evaluate and implement modern and emerging health technologies and advances (Getzen, 2013). Americans needs to look at health care policy and understand what works and what does not work. • 12. Essay In Defense of Food ENGWR 301 13 February 2014 In Defense of Pollan When Michael Pollan s book The Omnivore s Dilemma was published, many readers began questioning him for advice on what they should eat in order to stay healthy. In his more recent book, In Defense of Food, he responds with three rules, Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants (Pollan 1). This seven word response seems too simple for a relatively complicated question, but as he further elaborates these rules into specific guidelines, this summary turns out to be surprisingly complete. Using inductive and deductive reasoning, he debunks the ideas behind nutritionism and food science, and proves that the western diet is the cause for food related diseases. Inductive reasoning is when a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... While nutritionism is suppose to scientifically guide us to eat healthy, Pollan points out that there is no scientific evidence to back it. Instead, he provides research conducted by Harvard nutrition scientist that proves the opposite. In the public s mind [...] words like low fat and fat free have been synonymous with heart health. It is now increasingly recognized that low fat campaign has been based on little scientific evidence and may have caused unintended health consequences. (Pollan 43). In Based off these observations, Pollan uses inductive reasoning to draw the conclusion that nutritionism is more harmful then helpful. When Pollan s states to eat food as his first rule, he means exactly that, eat real food. While this statement seems so obvious that it shouldn t need to be a rule, Pollan explains how we are trapped by the Western diet and that access to real food over highly processed food products is harder then it seems. Taking food s place on the shelves has been an unending stream of foodlike substitutes, some seventeen thousands new ones every year (Pollan 147). For those that don t know, the Western diet is a term coined to describe our pattern of eating, which is characterized by lots of processed foods and meat, lots of added fat and sugar, lots of everything except fruits, vegetables, and whole grains (Pollan 89). • 13. Aesop’s Fables Aesop s Fables Introduction: I already know a good amount about the Aesop s fables before doing any real research. Almost everyone as a child was introduced to the stories such as the boy who cried wolf or the tortoise and the hare . As a child many adults would read these stories to me because they have a very strong moral. It can guide children to do the right thing when they are in doubts. I have a very personal experience with the tortoise and the hare because since I am a tennis player, my coaches would always mention these stories in regarding to practice and how we should be playing. These are both stories that have animals as characters and convey a moral for the characters action. For example, the tortoise and the hare is the story of a hare that was way too cocky and thought he could run really fast then take a nap and run fast again while the tortoise was a humble animal and just went at a slow pace to the finish line. The tortoise ended up winning because while the hare was sleeping, he was going at his slow pace but did not stop until he finished. This is a typical type of fable because it is short and sweet, has animals as characters, and shows a moral that comes out of the characters actions. Many fables have good and bad animal characters to convey the good things that come from good actions, and the bad things from bad actions. The majority of the fables you will read will have characters that show what happens to the good animal and what happens to the bad one. Stories like, the tortoise and the hare, the bat and the birds, the dog and the wolf, and the fox and the goat are just a few to name. In all of them however we see the good that comes from being someone good and the bad for the bad character. This is what conveys the moral and shows the reader how you want to be. These animals help show the moral because as animals we feel for them and it shows us what happens when you re good or bad. Social Conformity In The Fountainhead, By Ayn Rand In a world plagued by the infinite expansion of corruptness, human beings are tainted by the natural tendency to succumb to the horrors of social conformity. In the masterpiece The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand, the protagonist Howard Roark is considered to be a moral ideal that others must attempt to mirror. In the midst of unimaginable distress and agony, Roark remains valiant and never ceases to remain true to himself. While creating a character who is a moral ideal to emulate might have been what Ayn Rand wished while writing The Fountainhead, she is contacting the very beliefs that Roark abides by. Roark is a man of honor and dignity a man who would never turn his back on his morals. The most important rule of Roark s philosophy is to be able to stand by one s beliefs. If an individual attempts to emulate Roark s morals, then he/she is breaking the fundamental concept of objectivism. As stated in plain text by Roark, reason can be fought with reason (346). While the reasoning behind emulating Roark s behavior may be valid, it is impossible for one to do so without disgracing the objectivistic lifestyle. • 30. Unknown Blood Cells Lab Report Introduction When foreign antigens enter the body, chemical signals are dispatched to different parts of the immune system and send it into action. B lymphocytes produce the antigen specific antibodies. The antibodies will then attach to the antigen/virus and T lymphocytes will attack the antigen that the antibody has bound itself to. Once the antigen has been eliminated phagocytes, which are cells that absorb bacteria and other small particles/substances, will come through and absorb the remains of the antigen/infection. In a forensic setting antibodies can also be used to identify an unknown blood/protein. The purpose of this experiment is to use the process of immunoprecipitation to identify an unknown host protein. Materials and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. School Uniforms Are Inefficient And Unnecessary Summary In the article , School Uniforms Are Inefficient and Unnecessary, by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) OF Nevada, the ACLU of Nevada successfully builds an argument in opposition to institution of uniforms in school by alluding to historical precedents, appealing to patriotism, and using ethos to foster a sense of solidarity. The ACLU of Nevada wastes no time in starting its argument as evident in its historical reference during the introductory paragraph. The ACLU of Nevada argues that the First Amendment, the right to freedom of speech, is granted to every American citizen and that, students do not shed their constitutional rights at the schoolhouse gate, an opinion from the free speech case during the Vietnam war. Additionally, the ACLU of Nevada mentions that as a result of the case involving the students expressing their free speech rights during the Vietnam war the, Court set out a framework for dealing with student s free speech rights in school:that students have a ... Through this emotional argument the ACLU of Nevada conveys to its audience that the installment of uniforms in our educational institutions id not only wrong, but that it goes against the American identity. They were involving themselves in Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Guatemala. They were trying to convince Latin America that it was in their best interests to stay away from communist beliefs. America was afraid that if communism spread to the neighboring countries it would eventually come to the United States, so they felt it was their duty to prevent it from ever entering Latin America, to nip it in the bud . If they succeeded in stopping the advancement of communism to Latin America, they would not have to worry about communism spreading throughout the world. Of course their fear of communism was only a precursor to the real reason America was tangling in the other nation s affairs. • 33. Dharma Bums Analysis This week we started the reading of the Dharma Bums, which is related to Zen Buddhism. In addition, we also get in touch with some Zen stories. Zen stories are usually very short and easy to read, using just couple of sentences to tell people the main thoughts of Zen. When first read them, I found some of them are interesting and easy to understand, at least part of the meaning, while some of them are confusing. MUDDY ROAD is one of the several Zen stories we read in class. This story talks about the two monks, Tanzan and Ekido. When they met a lovely girl who was unable to cross the stream. Tanzan took the girl in his arms and helped the girl across the stream. Ekido did not say anything at that moment, but when they reached a temple at ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Goldilocks Research Synthesis Essay To juxtapose this argument made by the REH, the next key factor is something called the habitable zone. The habitable zone is defined as a region within which Earth like planets might possess the moderate environmental conditions for advanced life to form (von Bloh). Many of these new planets discovered are gas giants with atmospheres too turbulent to support life, so these planets habitable zone is said to be low or nonexistent. The existence of Earth like planets, however, is just as common as the existence of these extreme planets. Traits of the habitable zone, such as a carbon silicate cycle, solar luminosity, and plate tectonics, were analyzed for 200 different possible Earth like planets in Franck, von Bloh, and Bounama s research. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These conditions can range from the temperature of the universe, the background radiation leftover from the Big Bang, and the amount of elements located in the universe. It is a well known fact that organic molecules are common within the universe. As stated before, galaxies consist of billions of stars and then multiply that by the amount of galaxies in the universe; one can see why there are a plethora of stars. When stars die, the ones that explode, through a process called a supernova, release enough heavy elements into space that are essential for life to begin. Vilenkin states that the shockwave of these explosions are enough to propel these heavier elements into areas of dense clouds that have the potential to form new binary systems of a star and a planet. This new planet now has the chance to form life. But, the REH claims that the destructive nature of space is more prone to killing off any budding life than to help life develop. There is galactic cannibalism, which is when two galaxies collide and ripe each other apart with the force of gravity, or even stars dying can be a catalyst to the end of extraterrestrial life forming. According to Vilekin and other astronomers, the universe has been cooling down, albeit slowly and over the course of billions of years; but this seems to be beneficial to the potential existence of other life. This cooling universe has become ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. A World Order By Jhumpa Lahiri Nair attempts to interpret and relocate the characters from their succinct semantic images on paper and re cast them as believable entities embodying social, economic and psychological baggage in an essentially postmodern world order. In Lahiri s novel, a world order presents itself where people like Ashoke and Ashima are subconsciously put on the fringes of the mainstream American society, in part by their attitude and approach to the new, almost alien societal and cultural experiences and circumstances and in part by the reaction to their reaction by the world around them. And this is essentially a conflicting world order where there is an intent to adapt to this bewildering newness around while there is equally strong a yearning for the familiar and much cherished roots. The two characters (Ashima more visibly so) are torn, as it were, between the two worlds, and struggling to conform to either! Into this palpable melee comes the son. The second generation of Indian immigrants and a first born American citizen of Bengali origin who is bestowed with a name borrowed from a Russian writer of repute, Gogol Ganguly endeavours to be efficaciously functional in a space that might be essentially regarded as an interstice or gap between the American public sphere as Nikhil, truncated or anglicised to the convenient Nick , and the Indian home sphere as Gogol, while trying to make peace or strike a middle path with his baffling name and social, national, cultural and ethnic ... The narrative of the characters is very much a depiction of reality; fragmented and without a set way of telling a story. The narrative in the film is structured in a way that is a representation of how we as human beings live and lead our lives on an everyday basis. the film comments on the struggle of children and women, and how unjust the system can be against them. For example, in the film, we encounter Rehka, a prostitute who has a daughter to take care of. As a mother, biggest fear comes to life when authorities take her child away and place her daughter in an orphanage. They hope to sell off the virginity of the young girl, and sell her body to the person who pays the biggest price. • 38. Grover s Corners In Our Town By Thornton Wilder When plays are written, the author s life heavily influences the play s writing style, plot, and theme. Thornton Wilder is an author whose life impacts his play, Our Town. This play tells the story of the fictional town, Grover s Corners, over the years. Due to his travels and experiences, Thornton Wilder realizes that all communities are essentially the same. This view is present in his play. One of the factors that contribute to Thornton Wilder s perspective is his experience as an archaeologist. Between the ages of 29 and 30, Wilder spent a year studying archaeology and learning about classic works of literature at the American Academy in Rome (Johns). This helps him realize how different communities across time and cultures overcome the same obstacles. Since Wilder learns about the issues affecting society, he includes them in his play. Although Grover s Corners seems like a perfect community, it also has to deal with issues such as lack of culture, suicides, and inequality (Mccarter). Many successful entrepreneurs have been raised from this nation. Thus, it has to take benefit from these significant comparative advantages to generate new pools of jobs for its people. As I mentioned in the introduction, we should let history to be our guide to plan for future. Toward the end of the last century Japan was getting ahead of U.S. in most aspects of technology and industry including in automotive and home appliance industries. Most economists at that time predicted that in near future Japan s economy would pass America s economy, but this did not happen. Thanks to Americans innovation and ingenuity, the Internet was born in U.S.A which became the prevalent technology of the future and revived the U.S economy. Today, America is in need of such innovations. The world is in shortage of energy and the oil and natural gas resources are running out. Therefore, the price of energy will definitely increase. I believe that the capability of storing and using alternative and renewable energies in day to day life can be the next big discovery that is very likely to revitalize the economy and to create a new generation of jobs. Thus, emphasizing on research on alternative energies can be a feasible strategy to maintain a healthy workforce in the mist of outsourcing.
