Continental Mapping was contracted to provide photogrammetric mapping services for the redesign of an 8 mile stretch of County Highway F in Rock County, Wisconsin. Their photogrammetric mapping approach saved the design engineers $8,000 by supplementing the field survey work. Continental Mapping successfully delivered high accuracy 1”=50’ planimetric mapping and 1-foot contours with 0.3’ RMSE in MicroStation and Civil 3D formats to support the final road realignment and repaving design.
South Orange Valley and Third Street Redevelopment Plan

This session will provide an overview of how three local governments have completely redesigned their long range planning program to incorporate potable water issues into their comprehensive and current plans. The
determination of demand, the single utility provider structure, and the costs of these infrastructure projects will be discussed. For local planners, the need and ability to implement long range plans through collaboration between the utility engineer and the planner will be stressed.

This document provides a summary of the status of recommendations from the 2006 Reexamination Report. From architectural sheets, the first and second floor plans, elevation, and photometric sheets are missing. In addition, all the civil sheets except the parcel 1a topographical survey, are missing. By comparing the two preliminary and final site plans, we can consider the preliminary site plan as a plan that is more general which provides less detailed information regarding the proposed development than the final site plan does. It seems that the applicant (Washtenaw Community College) combined the two preliminary and final site plan in one application since the issue date of both plans is October 10, 2005.

“The shape and number of proposed parking lot has changed in the final plan. the parking spaces has decreased from 356 space in Preliminary site plan into 348 space in the final site plan. but it did not limit the impervious area of the site plan which is 22.80% of the total gross area in both preliminary and final site plans. The shape of the proposed building has changed in the final plan. The shape of traffic intersection between entrance drive and East Hiron River Drive has changed. The final site plan proposed setbacks in right of way. The shape, width and length of drive ways and trails has changed in some places. Recommendations I would recommend having a comprehensive and more detailed site analysis plan within the preliminary site p.

Completing field tests that demonstrate that geologic storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) can be conducted safely and commercially is one step towards developing robust strategies for mitigating large point source CO2 emissions.
The Midwest Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership Program (MRCSP) large volume CO2 injection test is providing data for improving capacity estimates and demonstrating storage capacity within a regionally significant resource. MRCSP is also evaluating CO2 storage potential in Ohio and other areas of the Midwest and the East Coast through regional mapping and exploratory site characterization. Lessons learned from pressure data analysis, modeling, monitoring technologies assessment, accounting, regional mapping and exploration enable technology advancements needed to help carbon capture and storage reach a commercial stage.

Employment Lands Study
The study aims to assess Langley's employment trends, recommend a mix of employment uses to meet future demand, and determine an appropriate balance between population and employment growth.
