This thesis studied the processes at Oy Escarmat Ltd. to identify areas for improvement. The author defined the company's core processes based on interviews and research. Several main business processes were also named and some were reformed. Suggestions were provided to eliminate problems in the processes to enable further development. Implementing total quality management principles and optimizing processes through measurement and continuous improvement could help the company develop its activities at lower cost. This would allow the company to provide more value to customers while increasing profits through saved costs and reinvestment.

The previous paper that I completed focused on employee engagement. The paper looked at how employee engagement could improve Autotech’s overall performance. Autotech is an innovative company that was developed mainly to solve various issues encountered in the automotive industry. Such issues included: the long wait times while vehicle undergo service, the inconvenience of having to drive all the way to their local dealer just to order a vehicle part or parts among other problems. In this regard, the effort was made to help in the revolutionization of the processes in order to make them more customer friendly. This was particularly achieved through developing a strategic employee engagement action plan in order to get all the personnel involved with our services on the same page and working together so that the process can handle more clients and can run more smoothly. The training of the employees on how to handle different processes was done and therefore this paper focuses on the implementation of the training program for auto tech.
The main reason for the evaluation of the training program is to determine the effectiveness of a particular training program. Once the conduction of the training is complete, the expectations are that the result will be positive and applicable to our company. This end result should be beneficial both for the people who are responsible for the program as well as top management since it will assist them in developing decisions that are both sound and helpful. This process included a large amount of thought along with effective planning. Effective planning is imperative during this process because it facilitates effectiveness throughout our company.

The second part of theory consists of the principles of total quality management and Demings 14 step program. This part of the study offers tools for processes and for implementation total quality management. An important part of the data used in this study was obtained from the semi-structural interviews, which covered the whole organization of the company. These interviews helped to identify the current stage of the processes and pointed out problem spots. In order to manage growing customer requirements and at the same time having price pressure from the market, the company should improve its activities in all processes. Process optimization with suiting measurements and with continuous improvement principles, the activities in the company could be developed in wanted direction with lower costs. By using principles of total quality management the personnel will be more involved in the development process. This will give better quality and better work and also creates an organizational culture that motivates and encourages employers to de- velop their own work and workmanship. With the help of improved manufacturing and optimized processes the company can give more value to the customer and at the same time make the ebit higher. The saved costs enables the company to invest and this again gives more value and developing opportunities in the future when these investments are made in co-operation with the workforce.
