3. MAORIS
 The Maori are the native people of New Zealand
 They arrived in New Zealand between 1250 and 1300 BC
 The Maori language is one of the three official languages of New Zealand
since 1987

such as wood, bone, paua shell, flax, and feathers

 Born in the 14th October 1888
 Three collections of her stories were published while she lived
 Two collections were published after death
 The Times said: “She sees everything much more vividly that we do”
 She died in tuberculosis at the age of only 34
