Overview
The passage that was chosen was Luke 5:27 32, or the calling of Levi. This passage
presents Jesus telling Levi, a tax collector, to follow him. Levi does follow Jesus, and
soon after they are having a banquet dinner with other tax collectors. Jesus is asked
why he chooses to eat with them, and he simply responds with It is not the healthy
who need a doctor, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance.

Anderton gets on board a train, and looks up to a machine (an eye dent scanner),

The bow is one of oldest weapons that can launch a projectile at great distances

Bows were made of a single material, usually wood; in which two pieces were
fastened together to make the equivalent of a single long stave. A stave is like a
long piece of wood such as a branch, stump, or post. For a longbow, all that is needed
is a single stave. According to Cliff Seruntine in Homemade Longbows, he
describes that the first step to make a traditional longbow is to acquire wood for
the bow; the best wood for a bow is yew (para 1). Just about any type of wood can
be used to craft a longbow, but yew is supposed to be the best. After the wood is
acquired, Seruntine states that a longbow generally measures 72 or 6 in height
and comes in a range of draw weights depending upon how thin the wood is cut and
the draw length of the archer (para. 1). After the stave is cut to length, the next step
would be to shave it down to the same growth ring all the way down the stave.
When that is finished, measurements need to be made to find the center and get a
correct width for the bow. After finding the center, the next step is to measure
about 2 down each side of the center for the grip. The grip is where the archer holds
the bow to shoot. A longbow can be used by both a left and right handed person
because there is no place to rest the arrow on the bow. Seruntine states that the
arrow has to be shot from the center of the bow because there are no sights on the
bow (para. 2). The arrow is generally resting on the archers index finger holding the
grip. To aim, the archer has to look down the point of the arrow. After all of the
measurements are done, the scraping process starts. The scraping process is the
longest part of it because there is a tone to scrape off and it only comes off a little

One of the solutions the Rotman puts forth is to put more focus on the science
behind genetically modified organisms so that we are well enough equipped to do
what needs to be done with the amount of food produced, which is to intensely
