As a student, it s been an experiences. Over the course; I have grown and learned
more on different skills of writing. I been a student at Colorado Christian
University for about a year. One specific experiences that I d recall, was when I
had to write a letter to a co worker. I thought I communicated well, however the
feedback that I received told me the opposite. The co worker told me that I had
broken English in my writing. He told me that he was confused on what I was trying
to explain. Even though what he said was true, I was upset. I didn t realize then, that
it was important for his feedback. I had taken many English courses, and it taught me
that in order to become a writer, was to write. One way that helped me improve and
overcome my weakness of writing was feedback from my professors and other
students. The next step was to find ways to keep organized when I began to write. In
spite of all my mistakes and weakness as a writer, communicationwas important
through writing, because we have to use strong academic language to write. To
point out that these are just a few I listed as a reflection on my writing skills. To
begin with; I learned that feedback was important part of writing. I quickly change
the way I view feedback. I used to think that I was being judged by others with their
criticism. It helped me look at it as a tool of advices when I began to view it from

Midsummer Night s Dream Act 3
The first scene I read of Act three of A Midsummer Night s Dream might be my
favorite so far. Act three of A Midsummer Night s Dream begins with the characters
Quince, Bottom, Snout, Starveling, and Flute, previously introduced in an earlier
act, discussing a prologue to their play. They were worried that ladies in the
audience would find the lion too frightening, and would have the actors punished, so
they wrote a prologue explaining the falsity of the lion. They then discuss adding a
character of a wall to the play. I personally found this scene hilarious, it adds a
perfect amount of comic relief to the story, and adds more character to the commoners
putting on the play. It was assuredly the scene that most stuck out, or caught my eye.
Robin then walks into the commoners practicing. He watches them practice, and
seemingly inexplicably, turns Bottom s head into an ass s head. Robin s dialogue
seemed to indicate that he was bored, that may be the reason of the inexplicable
head swapping. When Titania wakes up, the first thing she sees is Bottom, with an
ass s head, she immediately falls in love due to the flower juice earlier. Oberon, of
course, is very pleased with how his plan has turned out. Demetrius and Hermia
argue in the forest over finding Lysander, Hermia eventually exits in a rage. Oberon
realizes that Robin made a mistake, by dripping the juice into the wrong man s eye.

base that she would be hesitant to admit them to another. Ultimately, her quest is to
evaluate the writings and attempt to discover if mandatory helmet laws do,
indeed, decrease injuries and deaths as a result of a motorcycle crash. There are a
variety of reasons a motorcycle driver makes the decision as to whether to wear a
helmet while riding vs. not wearing one. Some of the factors that influence this
decision appear to be age, demographics (urban vs. rural living), and style and size
of motorcycle. Other factors involved are where the person is riding (highway, city,
side streets, rural areas, etc.) Weather conditions and time of day (early morning, rush
hour, nighttime) also should be taken into consideration. Maneuvering through

Problem: An unknown bacteria in test tube #13 needs to be identified out of the list
of bacteria provided as possible.
Hypothesis: If different tests were carried out to identify the bacteria s characteristics,
then the bacteria could be identified, because a dichotomous key can be used to
eliminate all other bacteria in the list
Procedure:
1.Obtain an inoculating loop, Bunsen burner, test tube #13 and a test tube rack.
2.Gram Stain Test to determine the shape of the bacteria, it s orientation of growth,
and whether is gram negative meaning the bacteria lacks a cell wall, or gram positive
which means it contains a cell wall.
a.Obtain a clean slide, crystal violet, Gram s iodine, 95% alcohol, safranin, bibulous
paper, a light microscope along with materials from step 1.
b.Sterilize the inoculating loop in Bunsen burner and let cool.
c.Collect sample with the sterilized inoculating loop from test tube #13 after
uncovering and heating the top of the test tube, then spread onto a clean slide and let
it dry.
d.Heat fix the bacteria to the slide by passing the slide three times over the Bunsen
burner flame, but be careful not to destroy the bacteria by excessive heat.
e.Flood the slide with crystal violet and wait one minute.
f.Wash the slide off with tap water by letting a slow drip hit one end of the slide,

3. TV is a World of Good and Bad
Even though both criminals and cops can both commit justifiable violence television
is still a simple medium. TV presents good guys and bad guys. On average, there are
15 minutes of commercials for every one hour of TV programming, so producers
only have a short amount of time in which to establish plot, story, characters and
resolution. Good characters and bad characters must be quickly and simply
established.
Deeper, more realistic, more ambiguous characterizations make it hard for viewers
to know who to root for. It also requires more screen time that takes away from on
screen action, states the Center for Media Literacy. As a result, TV and film
criminals are reduced to caricatures. They are l00% bad. No one could care about

death row, and, who are the most deserving. The consequences of the Supreme Court
s 1972 ruling voided 40 death penalty statutes, thereby commuting the sentences of

There are many ways to interpret the short story Eveline ; however, I feel this story
is very meaningful. In the story, the 19 year old Eveline lives at home with her
father and works at home and in their store in a small town in Dublin, Ireland. Her
brother Ernest has passed and Harry was in the church decorating business and would
help the family out by sending money. Eveline worked and would give all of the
money she earned to her father. When her father did give her money, Eveline was
expected to use that money to buy dinner so she could cook later that evening. In
the beginning, Eveline s father was more kind towards her, but after the mother
and his son had passed, he took out his anger on Eveline and the other siblings.
Eveline had taken her mother s place, helping her siblings, cleaning, and cooking.
At times she had fell under her father s violence. At one time he threatens Eveline

Started out like normal gathered the MV and Baboon carts. Corrine is on MV today
and I am with Philip. There was a little meeting this morning about what was going

Probably the single best project that describes my internship is the data logging
project. This was a project that I was given almost a month after I started but also
lasted until almost the end of my internship. This was also one of the largest projects
I worked on that I can discuss in enough detail to explain why it describes my
internship.
This was a great project for any intern or new employee because of the amount of
exposure that it gave to the codebase. It required pieces of many different part of the

Throughout history, humans have been fascinated the inherent bond that exists
between ourselves and Nature. During the eighteenth century, known also as the
Reformation period, there was a push in European society towards science and
reason being the epicenter of culture. During this time, Alexander Pope wrote the
poem Essay on Man which was intended to be an outline of perennial, universal
truths. The emphasis was primarily on the nature of reason rather than Nature itself.
After this time period came the Romantic period, lasting from 1785 1832. It was in

Nature during their lifetime; for Pope and his peers, it was more about reason and

The specific role of the White House Chief of Staff is as complex as it is elusive.
The WHCS oversees high level White House staffing, who is allowed to speak with
the President directly, handles the President s schedule, is a confidant and advisor to
the President, handles what information the President receives, negotiates with
multiple parties to push the political agenda of the President, and is essentially the
President s fixer (Cohen, D. B., Hult, K. M., Walcott, C. E., 2016).
This role is appointed by the POTUS and requires no confirmation by the Senate,
and the Constitution has no say on this role as it was not officially created until
1946 as the Assistant to the President and receiving the current title in 1961 ( White

As an observation of the opposing natures of the ocean s surfaces and depths,
Hawthorne s The Ocean illustrates the tranquility of a grave beneath the ocean s
waves. The melancholy tone of the poem acts like a unifying current, pervading

undertones of sadness. Divided into two octaves, the poem first depicts the nature
of the ocean referring to it as quiet and alone then the second half of the poem

A short term wind tunnel test rig known as the QinetiQ Isentropic Light Piston
Facility (ILPF) is capable of aero heat transfer testing of a turbine the size of an
engine under real life conditions. Initially this facility was designed for testing of a
single high pressure turbine stage but was recently converted to being able to test 1.5
stages of the turbine. One of the exclusive features of this facility is the aerodynamic
turbo brake that is driven by the turbine exit flow on the same shaft as the turbine.
With this design the turbo brake power is matched with the turbine at the design
speed, which causes the turbo brake to maintain a continuous speed while it s

But either way I don t believe the governess saw the ghosts based on two main
factors; first being, her vague description of Miss Jessel, and secondly, the fact Mrs

I think the children need protection from the governess and her imagination. The
governess comes across to have an unbalanced behaviour which doesn t go well
with the children. I also think madness links into the fact the governess is
hallucinating. I believe the hallucinations have lead the governess to get carried
away, which slowly turned her insane and made her very over protective towards
the children. The more the governess hallucinates the more insane she is going to
get, which is not going to protect the children in anyway as she would be trying to
sort out her imagination. The governess is only a child herself, having to cope with
two other children alone maybe a bit to much too handle, so having this other
pressure (the hallucinations) to cope with might just leave her to break down
mentally. In the turn of the screw, Henry James never identifies who is to blame for
the chaos at Bly. The interpretation bought about by the
Victorian society is that the master is to blame. By neglecting his responsibility to
provide a stabilizing environment at Bly, he allowed everything to breakdown into
