2. What molded me in to the person that I am today today
in life is music. Every sense I can remember music has
been a focal point of joy in my life. Wether it was rocking
out in the locker room before a big game , or helping me
rise up through a low moment in life , music has
certainly always been a guiding hand through it all.
Those reason have made me dedicate my life to it , and
pursuit of a successful career in the industry. I’m from a
small area in North Florida where growing up it wasn’t
the idea living situation the environment was gritty and
you had to have a strong mind or it would turn you for
the worse. My grandparents raised me, and they taught
me that It didn’t matter where we started out in life , but
the determination we displayed to make it through
adversity would be instrumental to a better future. My
vision is to have a entertainment label that gives artist
from less fortunate upbringings a platform to showcase
their talents to the world , while making it a career they
can monetize as well.

5. GOALS
Short Term: Immediately after graduation I would like to be working for a major music label like the
industry leading conglomerate Warner Music Group , who’s main headquarters is based out of New York
City. I would do this to develop industry experience / connections , while developing my own label at the
same time .
‣ KPI: A key performance indicator would be as an A&R for the label finding an act and
ultimately signing the artist to Warner within the first year of me being on the team. It
would be even better in my regard if this artist becomes extremely successful within that
year and makes a song that hits Billboard.
Mid Term: A mid term goal that I would like to achieve is possibly structuring an artist development deal
where we sign artist who have potential to be successful , but they may not yet be at the professional
level , so we help them reach the next step as an artist while collecting a precent of their streaming
revenue. KPI: A key performance indicator would be me formulating this contract within my first year with
Warner pitching them the idea and them excepting it , leading to the implication of it in our company . It
would be a even bigger plus if I sign a artist to the development deal during this first year and we get
them to the point to where we can sign them to a more conventional deal such as the more common 360
deal where the artist and the label begin getting paid together.
Long Term: (YEAR)
• A long term goal that I would like to achieve at Warner is within 2 years I want to have signed a hand
full of successful acts that started out with just a development deal and I helped them reach a
stardom level within the music industry , based off of my direct developmental work with them. In
turn this success helped them land a actual deal with the label that is lucrative for all parties. The
direct correlation from my artist development program to a gang of successful artist should create a
ripple affect in the company leading my superiors to noticing I am more then just the basic A&R and
more the executive or head A&R type , ultimately leading to a raise in rank and notably higher
position in the company.
