I’m Amber“Amari” Perez, also known as Amber
Lee. I grew up in a family of musicians, from my
great grandfather who played the accordion to
my mother and her siblings who had their own
band in the 90’s. I was always surrounded by
music. Music was always my escape, my safe
place where I was able to
fi
nd the right song that
would express how I felt. Now I’m taking my own
experiences to build a safe place for musicians
to explore their own creativity and to help others
who may feel the same way as they do. My goal
is to change the way people look at music, music
is a story that is being told that could inspire
others and give listeners a safe place to escape
too.
