The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) aims to create an integrated digital library as a ubiquitous digital knowledge source for the nation. Its vision is to provide 24/7 access to integrated e-learning content for all learners at all levels in all areas. Its mission is to initiate a movement for integrated digital learning across India with an inclusive and open motto. The NDLI will achieve this by harvesting metadata from institutional digital repositories across the country to provide a single-window search facility and enable e-learning through its collection of digital educational resources.

The prime reason of establishing a library consortium is to share physical resources between member organizations. Through consortia, libraries are coordinating their purchasing to offer the best quality and quantity of resources to their patrons at a lower cost and also to make them available on users’ desktops. “Consortium purchasing is assisting libraries to deal with the increasing pressure of diminishing budgets, increasing user demand, and rising journal cost”
DELNET with passage of time and technological advancements not only widened its scope but has crossed the geographical boundaries. Presently, it is the major resource sharing library network in India connecting more than 5,900 libraries in 23 States and Union Territories in India and eight other countries.
The main objectives of DELNET is to promote resource sharing among the member-libraries by collecting, storing and disseminating information and by providing networked services to the researchers and scholars to supplement their research activity

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
