Youth in today s society are faced with numerous social psychological barriers that
get in the way of healthy development. Urban youth are faced with even more of
these barriers such as homelessness, mental health issues, negative influences,
poverty, racism, stereotypes and exposure to violence. Table 1 addresses these social
psychological barriers, defines them and provides sources from current journal
articles that speak about them. Many of these barriers do not happen in isolation
alone, but are connected and intertwine. For instance students living in poverty often
have to deal with homelessness and students faced with racism often come face to
face with stereotypes in their culture. This paper will examine in depth the social

The seminar focuses on the study of the effect of compressed natural gas (CNG) and
diesel fuel injection pressures, together with the amount of fuel injected during the
pilot injection for different operating conditions, on combustion development, engine
emission levels and fuel consumption.

1. INTRODUCTION
Nowadays the internal combustion engines are spread to the extent that they
represent the main cause of pollutant production. Nevertheless, it is well known
that the stocks of fuels traditionally used in this kind of engines will be able to
satisfy the world s needs for few more decades. This explains the massive research
activity, drawn all over the world, addressed to the utilization of innovative fuels and
injection concepts in order to either replace the traditional ones or obtain a more
efficient and clean combustion. Compared to diesel engines, characterized by a high
efficiency but at the same time high levels of articulate, and to premixed charge
gasoline engines, characterized by a low efficiency because of knock limitations and
pumping losses, lean burn engines can reach a higher efficiency thanks to lower
pumping losses and heat transfer. On the contrary, lean mixtures generally imply
higher levels of both total unburned hydrocarbons (THC) and carbon monoxide.
Nevertheless, mixing the fuel with an increasing quantity of air, flame instability,

sometimes leading to misfiring, is observed.
1.1 Methane as an Alternative Fuel Among the

The Centralized Architecture Design Of The C C Botnets...
As discussed in the Problem Statement, there are several foundational flaws in the
centralized architecture design of the C C Botnets systems, which is leading the
attackers to develop and use a Peer to Peer based control architecture designs like
Phatbot [14], Slapper [12], Nugache [15], Sinit [13] etc., for the Botnet systems.
These Peer to Peer based control architecture designs have multiple advantages like
eliminating the need of using Bootstrap process which is a common process in P2P
protocol. Another advantage of a P2P based architectures like Nugache is their
ability to function undetected as they use a control channel which is encrypted [15].
Another advantage of a P2P based architectures like Sinit is their ability to provide
sophisticated authentication by using public and private keys and cryptography [13].
Figure2 below illustrates the current Command and Control Architecture of a C C
Botnet [1] However, these Peer to Peer based control architecture designs have some
major disadvantages as well. Consider Sinit trojan bot for example, which eliminates
the need for a bootstrap process. Sinit trojan however achieves this using a technique
called Random Probing where in messages or probes or pings are sent to random
systems in the process of identifying remaining Sinit bots in the botnet. This is a
highly risky mechanism because of inefficient communication between the Sinit bots
in the botnet and also the defenders can easily infiltrate

The ink left nothing untouched, staining and smudging the table, scratch paper,
and even my hand. A mess of paper and ink surrounded me, but only one area was
left organized. My sketchbook that I filled with meticulous work and effort for the
past 30 days stared back at me. Thirty days of work filled the sketchbook to the
brim, both the good and bad. I finally finished the final piece I had completed

InkTober is a social media phenomenon that took the artist world by storm. For
every day of October, you are to make one drawing that incorporates ink in its media.
The theme or subject of drawing is completely up to the artist, as long as the piece
has ink colored or black then it fits right into InkTober. Then, once you re satisfied...
Most of my pieces consisted of fanart or simple original pieces exploring inking
styles. I admittedly favored one series, Love Live!, over the others, but I was
grateful for the inspiration. Some drawings I practiced perspective and colors, like
the first and fourth day respectively, others I tested styles of shading and texture.
Going from a pencil sketch, to simple lining, and finally to detailed inking was a
fulfilling experience.
I would finish inking the drawing for the day and quickly sketch an outline for the
following day in pencil. This schedule was helpful and time efficient since the most
time consuming part of drawing is figuring out what to draw and how to start it.
However, I could only do this due to the leniency of my school schedule and sparse
amount of homework at that time. So when work started picking up at school two
weeks into October, it became a struggle to finish one day s drawing, not to mention
preparing for the following days.
The output and quality of my art in the middle of the month took a drop as I began
studying for tests, in class writings, and the PSAT. It was at this time that Inktober
became a real challenge. Not only do you have to plan and compose a drawing, but
you have to manage your schedule and make time to do so. Unlike professional
artists or people with flexible jobs, students are hard pressed with their school

child my grandfather told me stories about his time in the Navy Reserves as a
fighter pilot. He always told me that Navy fighter pilots were the best of the best,

the greatest examples of how heroism is depicted within a literary work is in Homer
s epic poem, The Iliad. Although the ideals of heroism are apparent in the poem, it is
important to understand how the same theme can be seen through other works of
literature. The Knights Tale, which is one of the greatest stories that Chaucer s
Canterbury Tales has to offer. The Iliadand The Knights Tale are both stories that
contain the ideals of heroism.
In the epic poem, The Iliad, Homer was brilliant in showing the idea of traditional
heroism on the battlefield. There is a clear conviction that comes from Homer in
that he directed towards his audience with the motive of making them understand

displayed is the success within the field of battle. Heroism is defined by the wish
and willingness to emerge as a winner in case of militants. Through military conflict

Ten years from now I hope that I have graduated and earned both my B.A in
Hawaiian History and M.A in Secondary Education. Recently I was inspired to
become an educator in the public school system. A classmate and educator herself
told me that the public school system needs passionate and dedicated teachers to
assist in educating students who do not have the same privileges as private schools.
She explained that public schools need teachers who will help students strive to the
best of their abilities. With fewer resources, support, and funds public schools would

2.1 Introduction of YBCO Yttrium Barium Copper Oxide (YBCO) is a type II high
temperature superconductor (Rana et al., 2016) called 1 2 3 superconductors. The

Complete Three Random Acts Of Kindness
For this project I chose to complete three random acts of kindness. The first random
act of kindness that I completed was done at the University of Saskatchewan
campus. One afternoon, I wrote the same message on roughly 10 different
flashcards. My plan for this act was to pass out flashcards with kind messages on
them and pass them out to students in Murray Library. Attached to the flashcards
was two mini chocolate bars. The message read Good luck studying for midterms!
You can do this. I hope this little treat helps you get through our day. The day after I
finished writing all the messages and attaching the chocolate bars, I proceeded to
walk around Murray Library and pass them out the strangers. I intended to
approach individuals who were sitting by themselves because I people who were by

people may have been distracted by their friends in order to sincerely take in the

that most of the people are infantile and weak because they cannot accept the reality

Through the mother, we see that dreaming may lead to a painful disappointment. The
mother has an unrealistic image of her and her future husband as an idyllic,
