In consideration to the notable qualities of this book, I stand by my grade of an even A. Whether
it be for the wittiness of Kvothe, the attention to detail, or the strong relationships between the
characters, The Wise Man s Fear is one of the best fantasy novels I have read in years. I would
recommend this book to anyone that enjoys this particular genre, and perhaps even to the ones
that do not. It is not simply a story, but a wondrous tale of epic proportion. The Lord of the Rings

Violet, Klaus, And Sunny Baudelaire Summary
Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire were intelligent children, and they were charming, and
resourceful, and had pleasant facial features, but they were extremely unlucky, most everything that
happened to them was rife with misfortune, misery and despair (1) .
This story takes place at Count Olaf s house and at the Briny Beach were Baudelaire children
received bad news from Mr. Poe that their parents had vanished in a terrible fire. They had to live
with a man named Coant Olaf; he was a mean and stubborn man who has a tattoo of an eye on
his left ankle, and only had one eyebrow. Violet was the eldest Baudelaire who was a very smart
girl and liked to invent things, she had black hair with a purple ribbon and would put up her hair
when she was going to invent something. Klaus was the middle child and loved to read and was
very intelligent he wore glasses and had black hair. Sunny was a baby like most babies and
loved to chew on things she wore a yellow ribbon on the little piece of hair that she had. Violet
and the other two were going to his house and met Justice Strauss a lovely and nice judge who
lived next door to Count Olafs house. Count Olaf said that he loved kids but the only reason he
wanted to care for the kids is because he wanted to marry Violet so he could get the Baudelaire
fortune that belonged to Violet the eldest Baudelaire child. At age 16 the fortune would be hers.
