OBJECTIVE

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I was selected to be a member of the global business team representing the Clinical Trial Contract group on the Cornerstone projects.
I am a contributing member of the Impact payment systemand CorA+ working groups. As a contributing member of the teams, I
provide input relative to the current payment processes and feedbackon the process maps being developed for the new CCT payment
system. The process maps will ensure all aspects ofpayments are adequately transitioned to the new payment systemwith no impact
on site payments once the systemhas reached the Go Live date. Participation on this team has provided me an opportunity to offer
ways to streamline our current processes and increase efficiencies in payments to sites.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
 Extensive computer experience and knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint,
Outlook and Publisher as well as proficient in Day CQ5 for web site design,FileMaker Pro, Front Page, Live Link, CTMS,
SAP, Documentum (IDEA) and CorA.
 Strong communication with all levels of management, team members and external clients.

Budget Specialist December 2008 – Present
Manage Grant Entry within the Clinical Trial Contracting Department.
 Review Clinical Trial Agreements and budgets to confirm accuracy of supporting documentation and ensure compliance with
policies and regulations.
 Steward of monitoring payments to sites to ensure Boehringer-Ingelheim is paying sites appropriately and accurately according
to the contracted budget.
 With emphasis on accuracy, I have the sole responsibility for entering and maintaining planned site budgets and payee
information into CTMS for all United States clinical trials conducted by contracted investigators .
 Extract budgets from fully executed site contracts,redact confidential information and submit data for incorporation into the
Medidata Grant Manager database. Submitting this information provides comparative data for procedures and assists with fair
market value analysis and strategies.
 Attend Pre Trial Review meetings and liaise with Clinical Monitors, members of Medical Controlling Finance, and Purchase to
Pay team members in order to monitor budgets and forecast accurately.
 Review the standard budget to identify and calculate the spread opportunities needed for forecasting purposes.

 Prepare budget amendments to Clinical Trial Agreements when protocol amendments are identified.
 Work closely with the Purchase to Pay team, Medical Controlling Finance Department and Data Management to ensure
payments and vendornumbers are set up timely and accurately.
 Audit all payee information for completeness and accuracy. Perform research if discrepancies are noted and contact site to
resolve issue.
 Notify contract managers of payee change,run report to determine which sites are affected, track and ensure change is made in a
timely manner so that payments are not delayed to site. Prepare payee change amendments when needed.
 Work closely with Accounts Payable and Vendor Data Management to provide assistance in resolving return of site payments.
 Developed and presented training sessions forClinical Monitors on the clinical trial budget,requirements for procedure
estimates relative to forecasting costs,payee amendments and payments to sites.
 Developed and streamlined a procedure for grant entry which resulted in payee information being entered into CTMS in a timely
manner so that payments could be made to investigators more efficiently.
 Designed and developed a macro based spreadsheet for contract managers to use which created consistency and accuracy of
budget information needing to be entered for all investigators.
 Manage the Clinical Trial Contract Department website on MyBI. Designed and created a professional looking web site
containing accurate and current information and added valuable resources for all BIPI personnelto utilize.

Clinical Trial Support Associate, II March – December 2008
Perform various tasks relative to the financial disclosure processes within the Clinical Trial Contracting Department.
 Assisted with the development of the Access Database created for Financial Disclosure. Because I took the initiative to learn
more about the database,I became the Sub Administrator and was able to assume the Administrator role responsibilities when
the Administrator was unavailable.
 Provided extensive training to Financial Disclosure team members on the new database.
 Extensive communication globally with Trial Clinical Monitors and Clinical Local Monitors to ensure documents are
completed and filed according to Standard Operating Procedures.
 Provide suggestionsand assistance to the database creator on ways to improve and automate the process.
 Responsible for creating instructions,documentation materials and training aids relative to the financial disclosure process .
 To aid in the consistency among team members communication with Monitors, I created a “standardization” of wording along
with a “macro” for the team members to utilize.
 Through my own initiative, I completed training, assumed the role of the creator/updaterof the Clinical Trial Contracting
Department web site and updated it with accurate information.
