FMP idea?
I will be creating somethingin the mediumof
animation, either computerisedor with my hands.
Why have youdecided to makeit? I feel animationcould have a lot potentialto have
many ideas to go intoit. I also havethe most
experience in animationout of all the different
mediumswe havepractised throughoutthe
subject so shouldfeel more comfortabledoing it…

What aboutyourproject makesit importantto
you?
Well, asI don’thave a clear idea of what I am
doing, giving reasonsto its importanceis quite
difficult. possible. I am going to assumewhatever I
chooseto make will have somethingtodo with
animationwhich I am very enthusiasticabout,
despite perhapsnotbeing an expert at it!

I don’tknowif I can realistically answer thisas I
don’thavea solid idea of what my animationis
about, sopicking outanimatorsin said style would
be a shot in the dark. However, I can answer that
my chosen genre was selected because I have
made many different animationsinthe subject
andwhile the process may have pushedme tomy
limits, the finalised productis usually satisfactory.
What effect do youwant to haveon your
audience when they see yourproject?
I hopethat whatever I makecan impress them
with the visuals, whether they’re intricate or
stylisedetc. I’dlike them to feel informed about
whatever it is, and tofeel emotivein somesense
if thatbe by humouror tragedy, or somethingof
the like.
Describe the tone/mood/styleofyourproject
[which productiontechniques/characteristicsare
youemploying?]
I really couldn’tdescribe the tone, moodor style
althoughI don’tthink it wouldbe tooheavy/dark
because thatwouldn’tbe too fun to work on for
months…thenagain who knows?!Notme clearly.
I assumeI will be using PhotoshopasI have
needed it for nearly all my animatedprojects and
therefore someof the techniquesI haveused in
thatprogram. Premiere wouldalso be a likely
candidate for the project and perhapseven After
Effects but thatone is more up todebate. If I
proceed with somethingrelating to Stop-Motion,
a camera wouldbe needed for thatwork as well.

I can’treally talk abouta specific style but
animationas a style is something, I am familiar
with and therefore more confident in, if notby
much.
If computerised, I am moreuse to its function
after usingthe equipmentfor almosttwo years.
But if stop-motion, I knowit's more reliable than
computers!I alsofeel I havemore control if I can
touchit.
