FMP idea?
My FMP idea is tohave a shortfilm / film trailer
thatportraysclear characteristics of a specific
genre
Why have youdecided to makeit? I havedecided tomake this because I really
enjoyed doingthe videoaspect and usingpremier
etc. I also really enjoyed Printand using
PhotoshopsoI wouldlike to include a film poster
as well as a trailer. I think the film trailer would be
the better idea to do because it is somethingthat
ac be filled with different shotsandit can define
certain characters alsothe film trailer would be a
goodidea because it doesn’thaveto havetoo
muchof a structureit just hasto be interesting.

you?
This project is importanttome because it will
allow me to improvemy skills andit will also help
me in the future as working in film is somethingI
want to doand doingthis project will help
influence me in how I work anddirect people on

Someof the work thathas influenced me is BBC
dramas because I like the way they portray the
characters in a shortamountof time andthe
purposeof a trailer is tocapture the audience and
make themwat to see it and it also hasto stick in
their memory for example if youare at the cinema
andsee a trailer duringthe adverts it hasto leave
an impact for the viewers toremember to go see
it. And I think Action/Horror film trailers manage
to dothis so thisis the typeof genre I want to
focus on

audience when they see yourproject?
When the audience see my project, I wantit to
convey a message andalso leave an impact
because thatis what a film trailer shoulddo.
Alongside the trailer I wouldlike to doa film
posterto advertise it and thisneeds to be eye
catching to grabpeople’s attention

I want the genre to be Action/Horror because I
think this is the mostdramatic genre and I think I
ca do a lot with it. The moodof the project I want
it to be quite dark and‘talk’ aboutcertain taboo
subjects, the tone of a horror film will be different
to the adventure, howeverI could combinethem
bothand I think thiswould be impactful

this style?
I havedecided todo my FMP in this style because
if I am doinga film trailer the it allows me to
incorporatemany skills for example I can write a
script, film it andit can alsocreate a film poster to
help advertise it.
