MY LIFE CHOICES
Main aim:
Familiarizing students with the SWOT analysis and the ability to use it for career planning
Objectives:
Knowledge:
 The student knows the SWOT analysis method
 The student knows his strengths and weaknesses
Skills:
 The student is able to use a SWOT analysis to get to know himself
 The student is able to identify his strengths and weaknesses
Attitudes:
 The student is actively involved in the lesson
Time: 45 minut

Procedure
GREETING (5 MIN)
Welcome students, check the attendance, organizational activities
SWOT ANALYSIS - INTRODUCTION (20 MIN)
Teacher presents a presentation on SWOT analysis and its applications. The whole class jointly
analyses a specific problem using this method.
MY STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (15 MIN)
Each student examines his strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that arise from
them. On the basis of the analysis he considers the choices of further education pathways.

DISCUSSION (5 MIN)
Summary of activities. Students and teacher point to the application of the SWOT analysis,
discuss the results of their analysis.

My life choices lesson plan

MY LIFE CHOICES Main aim: Familiarizing students with the SWOT analysis and the ability to use it for career planning Objectives: Knowledge:  The student knows the SWOT analysis method  The student knows his strengths and weaknesses Skills:  The student is able to use a SWOT analysis to get to know himself  The student is able to identify his strengths and weaknesses Attitudes:  The student is actively involved in the lesson Time: 45 minut Methods: Individual and group work Materials and Tools:  ppt presentation on SWOT analysis  Paper  pens or markers Procedure GREETING (5 MIN) Welcome students, check the attendance, organizational activities SWOT ANALYSIS - INTRODUCTION (20 MIN) Teacher presents a presentation on SWOT analysis and its applications. The whole class jointly analyses a specific problem using this method. MY STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (15 MIN) Each student examines his strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that arise from them. On the basis of the analysis he considers the choices of further education pathways.

DISCUSSION (5 MIN) Summary of activities. Students and teacher point to the application of the SWOT analysis, discuss the results of their analysis.
