heterosexual man
• The camera will linger on a woman’s body or focus on parts of her body,
rather than her face
• This objectifies the female body because her body is focused on, rather than
her face
• The Male Gaze theory suggests that women are only seen as objects and
should be admired for their physical beauty, rather than their mental
and or physical strength.
• Women’s costumes might also be revealing inviting the audience to look at
their bodies.
