storyline butit stillsfallsintoconcept.The genre of the musicisrock
music,whichistypicallylistenedtobyall agesand ethnicitiesinmost
countries.Rockmusicmaybe listenedtomore bythe likesof
teenagersandadults,ratherthanyoungchildrenasthere tendstobe
quite badlanguage,especially inTenaciousDsongs.The songis
probablymostpopularinthe UK and USA rather thanothercountries
as theyaren’tso well known.There issome humourwithinthisvideo
howeveritisn’tfamilyhumour,itisquite rude andmature.There isa
lotof explicitlanguage withinthe song,whichwouldmake it
unsuitable foryoungerpeople.The videoalsohassome performance
basedsceneswithinitasthe camera showshimsingingtohisparents.
The main character isalsoholdingaguitar whilstsinging.The whole

it.They don’tlike himswearingandtalkingaboutdrugs/alcohol.A lyric

explainsthatthere wasone memberof the familywhodidn’tabide by
the rulesand dowhat hisparentswantedhimtodo. There isalsoa line
of the songwhichsays“But yesthere wasa blacksheepandhe knew

out of the ordinary.Asthere is nochoreographyused,there isn’tanythingdifficulttodofor the characters or the camera crew.
Overall,there isn’tanythingspectacularusedinthismusicvideo,whichtobe honestyou’dprobablyexpectwithinarocksong.
Editing The editingisn’ttoodifficulteitherasthere isn’tmuchusedwithinthe
actual shots.All of the scenesare joinedtogether byjuststraightcuts.There
issome editingtobe done thoughas there are thingsaddedinwhicharen’t
real.For example whenthe postercomesalive,thatisCGI,as obviouslywe
knowit isn’treal.Thiswill be createdonthe computerandthenadded
afterwards.Thisisthe mosteditinginvolvedwithinthe musicvideothough,
as the rest of it doesn’tinvolve much. The editingmatchesthe tempoof the
song,so obviouslythe editingisquite fastpacedasthe music isupbeat.

to life,thatisa digital effectthathasbeenaddedinafterthe videowasshot.Thisisthe main use of digital effectswithinthe video.
There are nosoundsaddedinafterthe videowasshotapart fromthe actual musicfor the lyrics.There are no extranoisesusedfor
anything.There isuse of a greenscreenfora shortpart of the video,butapart fromthese thingsthere is nootheruse of digital
effects.The videoisrelyingonthe lyricsof the songto tell the story,whichitdoes. There aren’tmanybrightcolourseither,just
the traditional redandblackcoloursyou expecttosee inrock videos.
