Jamie Oliver proposes a music treatment that involves an actor lip syncing to the song "Times of Grace" while wandering through various locations that represent the feeling of the song. The actor's clothing will be worn to represent hardship and moving up. Locations will start in a worn field path and proceed into town to show things looking up. Lighting will start faded and black and white but brighten and include more color as the song progresses, representing the lyrics visually.

2. General idea
• My idea is going to be an actor posing as the singer from
Times of Grace and lip syncing along to the song, the
area the actor will be wandering through will change to
represent the feeling in the song.

3. Mise-en-scene
• The actors clothes will be quite worn to represent the
hardship the singer has gone through to get to where he is
know, I plan on using a worn shirt with a t-shirt
underneath with the buttons un-done as this is a typical
American style which will capture the feeling of the
vocals, I also plan on using worn jeans and worn trainers
to emphasis the feeling throughout the song.

4. Location
• I plan on using various locations within the town to
capture the progressiveness of the song, I was thinking
about using an area like a worn path within the field near
the school to start off with and then proceed into the town
to show that things are looking up as the song progresses.

5. Lighting and effects
• I want to have the colours faded throughout and then
brighten towards the end or use a black and white effect
and have colour at the end, I want to use an effect similar
to what I have evidenced on my blog in other music
video’s as I think it will emphasize the lyrics in the song
by having them appear as visuals on the surrounding area.
I would also like to have flickers of colour in my video
that becomes more frequent as the song progresses as it
eventually changes to full colour. I would also like to use
a similar effect to the one used throughout one of the
music video’s evidenced on my blog.
