Katie Wardrobe from Midnight Music gave a presentation on music technology and Web 2.0. She discussed how Web 2.0 allows for greater collaboration and sharing of music through tools available on the internet. Examples included music notation programs, audio editors, blogs, wikis, and other online instruments and games. These tools allow access from anywhere with an internet connection, are not platform specific, and make it easy to store files in the cloud and share with others. Wardrobe suggested using these tools to enhance musical learning and practice.
