Moscatel wine is a Spanish wine made from Muscat grapes that are ripe and grown in sunny conditions. The wine has a distinctive floral perfume reminiscent of orange blossom, raisins, and citrus. Some aged moscatel wines matured in small barrels develop silky flavors of honey and jam with aromas of white spices and vanilla. The production regions for moscatel wine designated as "Málaga Origin" are divided into four subzones located around towns like Frigiliana, Nerja, and Torrox along the Mediterranean coast of Málaga, Spain.
