with their logo underneath that.
The app will be a microblogging version of their news app, in which
users can quickly look through today’s current events, with the option of
also quickly sharing the news throughout social media apps. Each week
the app will be focused on one subject on the following page depending
on what viewers wanted to see. CNN’s logo will be prominent on the
landing page, with a smaller presence on size in the following pages.
3. Personas
• This app will be generalized for people that enjoy quick, light reading
• For those interested in sharing to friends/family
• Simple design will beckon readers to continue reading past articles
• Fun articles for people looking to have a quick laugh
4. User Journey
• The user journey begins with the homepage with the name of the app
along with the logo of the company, login will be accessible from the
first page, with the option either look at the current event or the past
one
• After login it’ll take you to another page where it will show what the
article of the week is, along with a social interaction buttons to share
or to interact with other users on a certain subject
• Third panel will show past articles, along with the links to their social
media interactions for each post
• All panels will have access to either of the two panels
5. Icon Usage/Style
The style of the app will be simple, with minimal shapes for the icons,
and a clean, simple types of fonts to make reading easier to enjoy.
