George is a father of 4 children that he cares
deeply. He works as a store manager and
spends most of his time doing volunteer work
and coaching his son’s basketball team. He has
a busy schedule, but he wants to be up to date
with important news. He does not want to waste
time going through news that does not apply to
him.
3. Persona: Caitlyn Hope - Age 22
Occupation: Social Media Influencer
Daily Routine: Makes Youtube videos, posts on
Twitter and Instagram, keeps up to date on the
news.
Likes: News, Traveling, Going to events.
Goals: To increase her follower base.
Caitlyn is a popular social media influencer. She
engages with her audience by posting or
attending events. She also tries keeps up with
the news, but with her busy schedule she is
having a hard. She is only invested in news that
relates to her.
4. User Journey
● When the user enters in the app, the starting/home screen shows the Logo
and two tabs
● The first tab takes you to the “Current Event” page. This page goes in-depth
of a current event. On this page there are two tabs that direct you to either
back to the home page or to the “Past Events” page.
● The second tab on the home screen is the “Past Events” page. This page
showcases the past events that was covered. On this page there are two tabs
that direct you back to the home page or to “Current Event” page.

6. Icons Style and Usage
The icon style would be iOS filled icons. These types of icons would be used to
direct the user to certain pages.
7. Fonts and Color Pallete
The font that CNN seems to mostly
use is Helvetica.
