Multitel is a non-profit research center in Wallonia, Belgium that has over 15 years of expertise in telecom, photonics, electronics, and signal processing. It has a mission to conduct R&D in emerging technologies through local and European partnerships and to serve companies through innovation and services. Multitel has a turnover of €8.34 million with 45 ongoing projects including 7 European projects and has 6 spin-offs and 1 commercial company. It has 3 sites in Mons, Tournai, and Lille and 5 technical departments covering applied photonics, network engineering, signal & embedded systems, computer vision, and railway certification.
