 PDP listening :
 Warmer : The teacher greets the learners and tries to inquire about their daily school
matters
 Pre_listening : the learners are invited to pay attention at the photo on page 142 and try
to make a description .
 Activity : Look at the photo on p142 and try to make a short description.
Suggested answer ( script):
A car accident has just happened . The accident has happened since the early morning
on the road. It has rained for all he night. The drivers have been driving fast so they
could not control their cars.
The weather has been bad and the road wet so the accident has occurred. The
constabulary have already been on the scene. The ambulance has not arrived yet.
 The teacher checks the learners productions then invites them to correct
 During listening: the learners are invited to listen to the suggested production and do the
following activity.
 Activity: Listen then write “true – false “ or “not mentioned”
1. A tragic accident has just happened.
2. A witness saw the accident.
3. The weather has been sunny.
 The learner listen twice to the script , then try to answer.
 The learners are invited to correct .

and answer .
 Activity : listen then complete the following table.

 The learners work in rough , the teachers supervises their works then invites them to
correct
 The teacher reports the learners’ answers on the board then invites them to read the
corrected activity.
Post listening:
The learners are invited to discuss the real causes of such traggic events .
The teacher lists all the learners answers then makes them vote to choose the best three
major causes.

 The teacher asks the learners to make a short production about any road accident or tragic
events they have witnessed using the present perfect & adverbs of time.

 Activity (Home work) : You have certainly seen a tragic accident or event on your way to
school . Write a short description on what you have seen using the present perfect and the
adverbs of time

5- Practice: The learners are invited to do the following written practice .
Activity 1 ( based form ) : Re-order the words to make correct sentences .

2) Not/ yet/ ./ BEM / ./ students/ have / Exam / taken /
Activity 2 ( Meaning based) : Match the pairs.

Suggested answer ( script): A car accident has just happened . The accident has happened since the early morning on the road. It has rained for all he night. The drivers have been driving fast so they could not control their cars. The weather has been bad and the road wet so the accident has occurred. The constabulary have already been on the scene. The ambulance has not arrived yet.  The teacher checks the learners productions then invites them to correct  During listening: the learners are invited to listen to the suggested production and do the following activity.  Activity: Listen then write “true – false “ or “not mentioned” 1. A tragic accident has just happened. 2. A witness saw the accident. 3. The weather has been sunny.  The learner listen twice to the script , then try to answer.  The learners are invited to correct .
