This document provides an overview of movement and mindfulness activities and skills that can be integrated into the classroom to support children's well-being, learning, and social-emotional development. It outlines Leah Kalish's background and experience developing movement curricula. It then describes several movement activities ("Adventure Skills") that target key areas like focus, coordination, and self-regulation. Examples of how to incorporate these skills at different times of the day are also provided. The overall goal is to easily and immediately integrate more movement and mindfulness.
