The document discusses different types of evidence that can be used to support arguments:
- Facts, statistics, examples, expert testimony, and personal experience are all valid types of evidence if properly cited. Facts, statistics, and quotes must include the source to be credible.
- Examples help explain arguments, while expert testimony from professionals in a field can strengthen a point. Personal experiences are also acceptable if relevant to the discussion.
- However, all evidence requires proper citation of sources to be considered valid and avoid plagiarism. The document provides examples of each type but stresses the importance of attribution.
An interview is a selection procedure used to evaluate candidates and determine if they are suitable for the job based on their responses. There are different types of interviews that can be conducted, from individual interviews to group interviews. Candidates should prepare by researching the organization, being ready to answer common interview questions, and anticipating what questions may be asked. During the interview, candidates should maintain eye contact, ask questions, and be engaged. Proper etiquette like arriving on time and dressing professionally are also important to make a good impression.
Oral, documentary, circumstantial, direct, real, primary, secondary, hearsay, judicial, and non-judicial evidence are some of the main types of evidence discussed in the document. Oral evidence refers to witness testimony, documentary evidence includes presented documents, and circumstantial evidence allows inferences to be made. Direct evidence involves eyewitnesses while real evidence consists of physical objects. Primary evidence is original documents and secondary evidence is presented in the absence of primary. Hearsay is reported but not directly witnessed, and judicial versus non-judicial refers to evidence presented inside or outside of court.
This document provides resources and tips for preparing for police oral board interviews. It lists the top materials available at policecareer123.com, including 80 police interview questions and answers, samples of cover letters and resumes, and ways to prepare for different types of interview questions. FUTURE-PROOFING CONSUMER IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENTForgeRock
This document discusses future trends in identity and access management (IAM). It predicts that by 2020, IAM will need to manage identities of people, devices, and services. The Internet of Things will redefine identity management to include what people own, share, and use. Also by 2020, 80% of digital access will be through mobile and cloud-based architectures, up from 5% today. External identity providers will handle 60% of identities interacting with enterprises through a competitive marketplace, up from less than 10% currently.
The document is a student project submission on the topic of confessions in law of evidence. It begins with an introduction and preface on the law of evidence. It then discusses the meaning of a confession, noting it is a statement by an accused that is adverse to them. It outlines the key differences between a judicial confession made before a court and an extra-judicial confession made elsewhere. It also discusses when a confession is relevant or not relevant as evidence, focusing on sections 24-27 of the Indian Evidence Act. The document provides details on the relevancy of confessions and differences between admissions and confessions.

The document discusses what identity theft is, how thieves can use stolen identities, and provides tips on how to prevent identity theft such as shredding documents, using strong passwords, monitoring credit reports, and filing a police report if your identity is stolen. It outlines common identity theft scams like dumpster diving, phishing, and social engineering and advises on protecting personal information.
The document discusses face detection technology, including its history from the 1960s, key advances like the Viola-Jones algorithm in 2001, and both its growing capabilities and remaining challenges. Face detection is now fast, automatic, and can identify multiple faces, but still struggles with angle variation. It has many applications in security, attendance tracking, and photography but requires further algorithm improvements to achieve full accuracy.

The document discusses different types of evidence used in legal cases, including testimonial evidence from eyewitnesses and physical evidence found at crime scenes. It notes that eyewitness testimony can be unreliable due to factors like stress, biases, and memory errors over time. Physical evidence is considered more reliable and can include trace evidence like fibers, fingerprints, DNA, tool marks, firearms evidence, and more. The document emphasizes how physical evidence can be analyzed and compared to help determine its origin and link it to people or places associated with a crime.

2. Hva er mindre bra med din
vane?
- Det er dyrt
- Familien er redd for meg
- Redd for å skade meg selv
3. Fins noen ulempe med endring
for deg?

16. Prinsipper i Motiverende samtale:
E-D-R-A-S
• E – Uttrykke Empati: refleksjoner for å vise at hjelper forstår klientens opplevelse
18. S-M-A-R-T
• spesifikk (konkret i forhold til hva endringen
innebærer),
• målbar (hvordan bekrefter man at målet er
oppnådd),
• akseptabel (klienten aksepterer planen og har
vetorett),
• realistisk (om endringen er oppnåelig),
• tidsbestemt (sette et tidspunkt for evaluering av
endring)
Nina Sletteland, VID, høst 2016
19. En helsesamtale..
• Identifisere behov og motivasjon for endring
• Utforske ambivalens og barrierer for endring
• Identifisere aktuelle tiltak ut fra behov
• Bistå i å sette konkrete mål
• Informasjon
Nina Sletteland, VID, høst 2016
20. Forpliktende avslutning..
• Hva vil du gjøre nå?
• Hva blir neste steg for deg?
• Hva har du tenkt på å gjøre
fremover?
• Hvordan kommer du til å gjøre
dette rent praktisk?
• Når tenker du at du vil begynne?
