lead to it. Interest may acquire, maintain or increase depending on
intrinsic and extrinsic elements. It must be distinguished from what
traditionally has been called in the classroom motivation, which is just
what the teacher does to motivate students.
Intrinsic: It consists of personal
interests, own abilities, challenges,
need no punishments or incentives,
it compensante activity itself.
Extrinsic: It consists of interest due
to external rewards or benefits that
will be achieved when performing
a task.
The purposes of educational motivation:
* Stimulate interest in students and direct their attention.
* Stimulate the desire to learn, effort and perseverance.
* Conducting these interests and efforts towards achieving
goals and conducting purposeful.
The school motivation allows
the achievement of meaningful
learning, as it promotes the
interest and effort.
The teacher plays a very
important role as a relevant guide
that guides students in the process.

surprise, using games and activities and change the organization and
structure of classes.

• Avoid giving too much importance to evaluations
• Transfer the self-motivation to the students
• Use novel concepts like technological resources
