Students will use blogs, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter to research and learn about animals in the rainforest. They will work in groups using these online tools and websites like blogger.com and pinterest.com. The teacher will assess student learning by visiting different groups to see what they have written and learned during the class.

1. Monday
A- Before going into detail about the animals in the rainforest, students will be able to give their
opinion on what they think they are. They are new to this, so they will be given information
about some of the animals in the rainforest. This tells me where they are in terms of
information. There are 20 students in the classroom, 11 boys and 9 girls.
S- Students will create a blog and pinterestto research using the internet provide for them and
learn about the animals through these tools. Also, they will add themselves to facebook and twitter
accounts in order to stay up to date by the end of the class with 100% accuracy.
S- The media used for the first day will be Pinterest, Blogs, Facebook, and Twitter. They will need
access to the internet. Since they will be in groups, they will be at the computers together. The
facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008215066026 and Twitter is
@Pricesclass. The websites used are blogger.com and pinterest.com. They will use these websites to
stay up to date in the class and also to research about the animals in the rainforest.
U- The media used is accessible through the internet. As stated above, the teacher will use media
that is given to students for them to do research.
R- By starting the class with a discussion about what they think they know about the animals in the
rainforest will help me understand how much I will need to teach.
E- Within the last couple of minutes of class, I will assess the students by going around the to
different groups to see what they have learned so far and check what they have written down.
