This document outlines school improvement goals and initiatives for MMS for the 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 school years. The 2004/2005 goals focused on improving algebraic problem solving, constructed responses, reading comprehension, and scientific/geographic knowledge. Assessment data showed progress towards these goals. The 2005/2006 goals aimed to improve critical thinking in math and using details from texts to construct meaning. Assessment data identified needs in these areas. The school planned to use strategies like CFG, teaming time, and LASW protocols to meet the new goals and make adequate yearly progress.
