length of the opposite and adjactent
sides are 3 and the hypotenuse is
unknown. The legs can be measured
by using a ruler. To find the
hypotenuse using the pythagorean
theorem we would have to do 3^2 +
3^2 = c^2

An example of a 30-60-90 triangle is a dorito, in
this instance the legs are either 2.5 or 2.2 inches
long. The hypotenuse is unkown, the adjacent
side is 2.2 inches long, and the opposite side is
2.5 inches long. You can measure the lengths
using a ruler. In order to find the length of the
hypotenuse you would have to use the
pythagorean theoem: 2.2^2 + 2.5^2 = C

5. Part Four
A job that require trigonometry is an architect.
Trigonometry is important in this job because
knowledge of the relationships between angles is
very important. Triangle are use a lot in
constructions and being able to use trigonometry
is a must. For example, you might only know the
lengths of the legs of a right triangle, but in order
to proceed you must find out the hypotenuse. In
this instance you could use the pythagorean
theorem to find its length.
