Raquel Córcoles is a Spanish illustrator from Reus, Cataluña who worked in advertising and journalism before leaving her job to focus on her graphic novel series. Her books include "Soy de pueblo" about surviving in the city as a modern girl, "Los capullos no regalan flores" illustrating loves and heartbreaks after moving to the city, and "Idiotizadas" addressing feminism today through a metaphor of Disney princesses. She draws inspiration from her friends to create characters and aims to normalize taboo topics and reclaim feminism through her work.
