INTRODUCTION
 Today’s smartphone and mobile processors are very
powerful, so powerful that it is almost as powerful as
a desktop computer.
 Processors are now coming up with more cores. The
processing speed has reached up to 3.0 -3.5 GHz.
 The ability to include GPU (Graphic Processing Unit)
inside mobile processors has enabled devices to out the
best graphics picture, 3D capability, Virtual Reality
capability and 4k recording.
 The improved processor technology also made today’s
modern mobile devices more power efficient. In this
Presentation we will learn different processor used in
mobiles.
MOBILEPROCESSORS
 Let’s first see what a mobile processor is. A mobile
processor is found in mobile computers and cellphones.
 A CPU chip is designed for portable computers, it is
typically housed in a smaller chip package, but more
importantly, in order to run cooler, it uses lower voltages
than its desktop counterpart and has more sleep mode
capability.
 A mobile processor can be throttled down to different
power levels or sections of the chip can be turned off
entirely when not in use.
 All the processes and tasks are done by Processors.
Processor’s are measured on the basis of how many
instructions it can execute in unit amount of time is
measured in GHZ which is Giga hertz. The higher of
GHZ processor the better it can perform i.e. faster, but it
again depends on cores in terms of multitasking in most
cases
HOW PROCESSOR WORKS?
WHAT’S A CORE ???
It’s an element found in the main processor that
reads and executes instructions.
Devices began with a single-core processor, but
engineers created more powerful devices by
including more cores in one device.
 That led to dual-core , quad-core (as in four
cores), and hexa- (six) and Octa-core (eight) and
Deca-cores used in smartphones and tablets.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITSOF MULTIPLE CORE???
The more cores, the faster they can divide up the work
you’re asking the phone to do. That means multiple cores
make your experience snappy: Apps load quickly.
 You can capture high-quality photos or HD video and
then browse through your collection without pause.
Animations and videos play smoothly without stuttering.
Games don’t get bogged down. There are exceptions, but
generally, the more cores the better the performance.
