The document proposes two algorithms, CAR and MCAR, to provide differentiated routing for high-priority (HP) and low-priority (LP) data in wireless sensor networks. CAR discovers congested zones in the network and dedicates those areas to routing HP data. MCAR enhances CAR with MAC-layer techniques to dynamically form HP paths for mobile data sources, at the cost of degrading LP traffic performance. The algorithms aim to increase successful HP data delivery while maintaining low jitter and delay.
