The Minnesota Historical Society opened the Minnesota History Center museum in 1992, featuring costumed character performances called History Players portraying figures from Minnesota's history. These became very popular. In response to many requests from schools and other organizations, the History Center launched an official outreach program in 2000 called History Player in the Classroom, where costumed interpreters perform 50-minute programs engaging students and adults with Minnesota's history.

Many settled in Saskatchewan, establishing a diverse cultural landscape. To accommodate the growing population, one-room schoolhouses were constructed every 7-8 miles to educate children from various backgrounds and help integrate different cultures into Canadian society.

In August of 2014 I visited Portland, ME to see the Circus Conservatory of America and to present a proposal about the Library of the Circus Conservatory of America to a group of librarians. Those in attendance included librarians from University of Southern Maine, Maine College of Art, Portland Public Library, University of New England, Bates College, and Colby. The presentation consisted of a brief overview of circus arts, what types of materials the Library of the Circus Conservatory of America would collect, and a discussion about how the Circus Conservatory of America and the libraries at the presentation could collaborate to create a regional performing arts collection.

Circus Conservatory of America Library Presentation
In August of 2014 I visited Portland, ME to see the Circus Conservatory of America and to present a proposal about the Library of the Circus Conservatory of America to a group of librarians. Those in attendance included librarians from University of Southern Maine, Maine College of Art, Portland Public Library, University of New England, Bates College, and Colby. The presentation consisted of a brief overview of circus arts, what types of materials the Library of the Circus Conservatory of America would collect, and a discussion about how the Circus Conservatory of America and the libraries at the presentation could collaborate to create a regional performing arts collection.

This document announces the Third International Conference of the Greek Oral History Association (GOHA) to be held in Salonica, Greece from June 3-5, 2016. The conference will rethink the concepts of "history from below" and "counter-archives" in the current context. It will examine who and what topics should now be included, the nature of new 21st century counter-archives, and how oral historians can better engage audiences and contribute to social change. Proposals on topics like life stories of refugees, oral history and the arts, work and unemployment, and new subjectivities are invited for consideration.

Multiple decision makers are typically involved at each stage as the company works to identify, specify, source, and select products and services to meet its needs.

Fall 2009 Survey Results - Website
The majority (80%) of historical societies in Minnesota have websites according to a 2008 survey conducted by the Minnesota Historical Society. Of those who do not have websites, the top reasons were cost (13 responses) and lack of technical expertise (5 responses). The top reasons for having a website were to increase public awareness of the organization (59 responses) and share information from collections and resources (43 responses). Most organizations host their websites through hosting services rather than their own servers. Websites are often updated infrequently or as needed due to lack of time, knowledge, or personnel. Maintenance is typically done by volunteers, employees, or consultants.

to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
