However, renewable energy projects also face significant barriers like high costs, infrastructure and political risks. The document reviews the types of investment incentives used in MENA countries and recommends that governments establish a clear regulatory framework, set renewable energy targets, upgrade grids, and select incentive schemes that are predictable, efficient and tailored to project type. Financial incentives like feed-in tariffs are best for large plants, while net metering works well for industrial projects. Governments should also monitor and revise incentives as technologies

This document summarizes a course on oil and gas management. It introduces international oil companies (IOCs) and national oil companies (NOCs), and hypothesizes that cooperation between the two is beneficial. It then provides two case studies: Mexico opened its oil industry to foreign investment in 2013 after decades of a state monopoly, and Qatar partners with IOCs like ExxonMobil for liquefied natural gas projects due to Qatar's large reserves and the company's experience. The conclusion is that IOCs and NOCs will both compete and cooperate in the future.

Morocco is investing heavily in its energy sector to meet rapidly increasing demand. The strategy involves diversifying energy sources, improving efficiency, and integrating regional resources. Demand for electricity will double by 2020 and quadruple by 2030. The State Investment Company (SIE) supports this strategy by co-developing renewable energy and efficiency projects. SIE aims to cover the mid-tension sector through photovoltaics, boost private investment in efficiency, and support the renewable energy industry. National programs include solar and wind farms. SIE also seeks to launch the production of photovoltaic panels, LED street lamps, and solar water heaters in Morocco.

1. Customers have an unsystematic gaze pattern and many packages cannot catch their visual attention. Visual attention is drawn to designs that are easy to understand.
2. Familiarity and ease of understanding extend visual attention, with packaging design potentially also playing an important role. Customers prefer easy choices that are optimally placed.
3. Testing of packaging redesigns found significant correlations between visual attention/memory and authenticity/memory, suggesting redesigns that attract more visual attention and appear more authentic are better remembered.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
