- Two types of Cell division
- Mitosis: produces all types of cells (Body
Cells)
- Example) Body cells (brain cells, muscle cells, skin
cells etc)
- Meiosis: Produce gametes
- Example) Sperm cells and egg cells
5. Meiosis
● Two cell divisions and produces cells that are
different from the parent cell.
● Meiosis 1 and Meiosis 2 (PMAT1 and PMAT2)
⚪Meiosis produces cells that have one-half the number of
chromosomes as the parent cells.
● Meiosis produces gametes (egg and sperm cells)
