In software development, a ‘prototype’ is what we describe as a rudimentary working model of a product or information system, which is usually built for demonstration purposes.
Here’s a crazy thought: Why not look at organizations in the same way? A working model that we can start from, but constantly revise as we move along? By using evidence-based practices to test, validate and improve our way of working?
Create culture. Create performers. Create habits.
What kind of company culture will nurture an experimental mindset and stimulate our willingness to keep learning? How do we adopt this culture, or even create it ourselves? Will it improve our performance in the long run? Can we prove it? How? How do cultural habits play a role in this story?

Innovator's DNA - What makes top leaders innovation gurus? Unlock your innova...vedsta87
The Innovator's DNA - based on research conducted in the groundbreaking book by innovation gurus Jeff Dyer, Hal Gregerson and Clayton Christensen - unlocks the mystery behind the great leaders of innovative companies. What makes them tick? Surprisingly, we find that top innovative leaders share similar behavioral traits. They are questioners, experimenters, networkers - these behaviors drive their ability to be innovative.
Innovators are not "born with it" - research shows that only general intelligence is genetic, but creativity can be learned.
So then the question is: what about you? How can you train yourself to become an innovative leader, and flex your innovative muscles?
We provide the answers with the Innovator's DNA workshop and assessment program. Visit our website or the innovators dna site, or buy the book today. Our program trains leaders, teams, executives and senior managers to understand what drives innovation within them - and how to bring it out more regularly.
As innovators, we are expected to bring creativity to the table. Yet how many of us actually understand how creativity happens and what it needs to thrive? Furthermore, how many of us know how to unlock the creative potential in others? Learn three unexpected truths about creativity that will change the way you relate to this natural resource.

You've heard it all before: Millennials want flexibility, state-of-the-art technology, career development, purpose, and meaning in their work. But really ... who doesn't want these things? This isn't a Millennial problem, a Gen Xer problem, or a Baby Boomer problem. This is an organizational problem.
Has “DevOps” jumped the shark?
Some say yes; others say 2014 will be the year DevOps dons its Fonz-esque leather jacket. Whichever you believe, the marketing feeding frenzy has begun and the dilution of the “DevOps” concept to include everything (and simultaneously mean nothing) is palpable.
This talk deconstructs the meta-elements of DevOps that made it resonate so strongly with so many and allowed those familiar DevOps poster children—Netflix, Etsy, and others—to deploy the methodology with such success in their businesses. We’ll go beyond DevOps’ classical CAMS (culture, automation, metrics, and sharing) definition to discover what exactly what made DevOps relevant, and what about it is so timeless and foundational that it will make whatever-follows-DevOps relevant, too.

Ideation and the business canvas session 3Anilesh Seth
This is the third session in my course titled Entrepreneurship Management. In the first two sessions, I introduced the students to the idea of entrepreneurship as being that of identifying opportunities and creating value - not just in start ups. I talked of Entrepreneurial Leadership and presented some facets of the support ecosystem that exists in India. Here in session three I take the discussion one step forward by talking about ideation per se and converting it into an actionable plan using a tool called the Business Canvas.

The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.
Artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to radically reinvent the way we do business. This study explores how CEOs and top decision makers around the world are responding to the transformative potential of AI.
