Cycle News, till this day it remains an iconic brand.
• 1990 Bauer radio business started with the gain of London dance station
Kiss FM now know as Kiss 100, followed by the gain of Liverpool's Radio
City and later by TWC and the Metro Group. Bauer then gained Magic
105.4 high in the market-lead.
• 1994, the company bought a small magazine called “For Him” which is
now the core of the best-selling international multi-platform brand FHM.
• 1996, Bauer acquired digital music TV channel “The Box”, as a route into
the small screen business, which has grown into Box Plus Network a joint

It is the longest-established European guitar magazine, and is currently the
biggest selling guitar magazine in the UK.
The magazine's current editor is Jamie Dickson (who has been in charge since
late-2013). Each issue covers 3 main areas - reviews, interview and technique.
It features reviews of newly released guitars, amplifiers and other equipment,
plus interviews with famous and up coming guitar players, features on the
guitar industry, news articles, and features on playing technique that are
