2. Who are the company?
Bauer media group is a European-based company which is
headquartered in Hamburg, in Germany. It manages a portfolio of more
than 600 magazines, 400 digital products and 50 radio and tv stations.
Bauer media is an entertainment network of iconic, multi-platform
brands. These include heat, Kiss, Grazia, Empire, TV choice, magic,
absolute radio and many more. In the UK they reach over 25 million
consumers. It is described as 'the UK's most influential media brand
network'.

Bauer media group became the largest privately owned media group in
2008 but was originally founded in Hamburg, in 1875 and is now in its
fifth generation of family ownership. After these five generations of
management under the Bauer family, the company has purchased:

along with Live@KISS with Michael and Andrea who also plays 35 hours of
specialist programming including Shortee Blitz, Majestic, Wideboys, Tough
Love, Pioneer, Devolution and Dixon Brothers every week.
Its responsive website has seen 745,000 views.Their biggest live event is
KISSTORY, which sells out London’s O2 up to eight times a year, it is very
similar to capitals summer time ball, which has exclusive artists with singles
from the charts that end up entertaining over 3,000 people each time with
the biggest ‘old-skool’ tracks and anthems.

Kerrang was founded thirty-four years ago. Not only is Kerrang a
magazine but is also a radio station, tv channel, mobile and on tablet.
They also have an awards ceremony which involves them going on tour.
Kerrang receive 920,000 listeners each week. The radio station itself
involves what is happening in the world of rock, right now. The target
audience is men aged 15-34. As well as a magazine, they also have a
record breaking website which has been announced the most
successful digital launch in Bauer Media’s history. The page gets 8
million views per month and has 745,000 facebook fans, 583,000
twitter followers and 78,000 instagram followers. It also has an award
winning tv channel which attracts over 12K more viewers every month
than MTV.

8. Who are the company?
Future are an international publishing group and leading digital
business. On their website, statistics say that there are 44 million
monthly visitors, 53 million likes with social research and 745,000 print
circulation. They reach 100 million consumers globally.
There are approximately 500 people working across their offices in the
UK, USA and Australia.
9. Future History
Future was set up in 1985 by Chris Anderson with a single magazine; It
has now grown into a portfolio of over 200 print titles, apps, websites
and events.. Anderson sold Future to Pearson PLC for £52.7 in 1994,
but bought it back in 1998, with Future Chief executive Greg Ingham
and Apax Venture Partners, for £142 million. Then, in 2001, Anderson
left Future.
11. Rhythm music magazine
Rhythm is owned by Future PLC. Rhythm is a drumming and percussion
magazine based in the United Kingdom. A new magazine comes out
monthly. It was launched in 1985, and is now the best-selling
drumming magazine in the UK.
It is available in major retailers throughout the world which can also be
brought online. The magazine features reviews, artist interviews,
playing tutorials, event coverage, news and features every month. The
target audience is aimed at drummers and the older age group.

Nintendo is a Japanese consumer of electronics and software company that is
headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. Nintendo is now one of the world's largest video
game companies in the world.
On November 19th, 2006, nintendo brought out the new video game console, the
nintendo wii. As a console, the Wii competed with Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's
PlayStation 3.
Nintendo Power was a news and strategy magazine which was initially published
monthly by Nintendo of America.
In December 2007, Nintendo contracted publishing to Future US, the American
subsidiary of British publisher Future. It was one of the longest running video game
magazines in the United States and Canada, and was Nintendo's official magazine in
North America.
