In order to help get feedback from our music video we created this questionnaire consisting of multiple choice questions and written

2. Which aspects of a music video make it more interesting for you to watch?
3. What do you use to view music videos?

4. A2 Music Video Questionnaire - Results
From the questionnaire combined with the verbal feedback we recieved these were the points that we found that
we needed to further develop on our music video. The things we needed to change consisted of removing certain
shots and making transition slides slower so that our music video is clearer to the viewer.
•Most people understood the narrative of our music video, however for those who didn’t understand the narrative we need to
make it slightly clearer for our next draft.
•Everyone who watched our first draft enjoyed it, however there were many critical points due to the fact that our music
video wasn’t fully finished and we needed to lip sync better as well as add a title.
•Our audience felt that the parts that needed improving most consisted off:
•Re-film parts of our artist singing because the shot doesn't refer to rule of thirds and her looking distance isn't long enough
•The scene featuring the two main characters, April and Elias, where the black and white colour effect has darkened more
than the other scenes, needs to be adjusted so that it blends properly throughout.
•Some transitions of the music video are very quick and it is hard to focus and follow the story, therefore we need to make
the transitions of the dissolve effect longer, and possibly make slow down the speed of some of our clips to help them go with
the slow song.
