For thistask we had togo around school insmall groupsand replicate variousphotographswe were
giveninclass,we didthisas photographywill be importantwhen
designingourmagazine tomake sure ourpicture can be effective and
will attractpeople tocome and buyit.
We received feedbackfromtwoothergroups,forthe firstpicture on
the right ourstrengthswere thatthe depth,moodand composition of
the picture wasgood but the mainfocusof the picture isoff centre
and runsthe effect.Forthe secondpicture onthe rightwe were told
that the poseswere goodbutthe backgroundwasmessyandnot
relevant. Finallyforthe lastpicture we were toldthatthe depthof
fieldwasgoodandwe usedrelevantpropsbutthe camera angle
couldof beenlowerandthe backgroundruinedithoweverwe
couldn’tchange the backgrounddue to itbeingstuckon the wall.
From thisactivityi learntthatpicturesneedtobe thoughtour
properlybecause little thingsinthe backgroundcanruinphotos,alsoi
learntaboutanglesandperspective andhow itcan help,thiswill help
me wheni domy magazine asi knowhow to workthe anglesandget
the bestlightinganduse propseffectively.
