How did you
attract/address your
audience?
How I did it
 I decided to make my target audience 18-25 year olds
before I started to make the actual media product. I
addressed my target demographic by making a
questionnaire and giving it to 20 people within my
target audience. I did this to get an understanding of
their views and to know what they would like to see
in my horror movie.
 The next few slides consist of some of the questions
that were in my questionnaire with the results.
Question 1
 The results show that most people in my target audience prefer to watch horror
films that are scary/very scary as apposed to not scary, therefore I tried to make
my media film as scary as I possibly could with the amount of time I had to
produce it.
Question 2
 According to the results of my questionnaire, serial
killers/ murderers were shown to be the most
frightening to people in my target demographic. This
Is why I used a serial killer in my film but with the
twist of making the antagonist a female.
Question 3
 The results clearly show that graveyard’s my target
audience find graveyard’s to be the scariest location a
horror movie could be set in. I decided to include a
scene in a graveyard in my opening sequence to make
sure it appeals to my targetaudience.
Question 4
 From my questionnaire’s results, I found out that
football was the activity most favored by my target
audience, so I made sure I included a football in my
film to give the audience something that they can
relate to and enjoy.
 The questionnaires results really influenced my
product, I tried my best to meet up to my target
demographics standards by trying to include everything
that they enjoy most about horror movies. I also
included what they enjoy outside of horror movies e.g.
football.
